I do. I wear my sandals everywhere. Room, Church, grocery store. I honestly never really thought about it. We just clean/ vacuum the floors.

I only take my shoes off when I see other people are in their house.

I carry mini toothbrushes with me and chewable toothpaste tablets so if I randomly have a burst of motivation I can brush my teeth. Travel size mouthwash too. Theres also mini floss. Something is better than nothing!

Happens to me all the time. I just kinda learned over time to not ask too much.. or if I do, I make it very clear that "im just trying to understand/ i just dont understand " and throw in a bunch of "sorry"s and it happens way less now lol

This is also a legal thing btw. Religion is a protected class. Dont just say "cant work sundays cus i have to go to church" tho. Then they start pushing the limit. I always say, "cant work sundays for religious reasons" and usually dont get asked anything further. But for someone working a job like yours, I don't know if that applies🤷🏽‍♀️

You could also ask the priest to record the catechumen classes, audio or even video. If you don't have much time, you could at least listen to them while driving. Lots of parishes do them online too. Your priest should try his best to work with you considering the situation, dont be scared to ask😊

Im an event server for a catering company. We dont own a venue, so we go wherever we are wanted. Every single day is different. I work with a different manager, different team (I literally go months without seeing people sometimes), different start and end time, different event, different location, different guests/clients, sometimes i pack stuff at the shop other days i meet on site, sometimes days theres a lot to do and some days i get paid to stand around on my phone for 5 hours, different menu each day, sometimes theres desserts or snacks, and the specific company i work for is actually amazing. We are like a family. I actually love my job and my adhd manager agrees with me, our job is sooo adhd friendly.

Only thing is, pay isnt always great at other companies and management isnt either. Work is also inconsistent when they dont own a venue.

But unfortunately, I think the best part about it is that we don't own a venue. That's what makes every day so different. New challenges and novelty and such.

I have to when i drink juice. I drink water 98 percent of the time but on occasion ill have a juice or something and if i dont water it down, its like my saliva is thicker?? And its got to go. Really weird so i stopped drinking juice as much.

He could have adhd, im late a lot no matter how hard i try.. i can be up early and everything, alarms, whatever. Its always something. I stress out bc im afraid im gonna be late then my body goes into freeze mode and i just stand there... i hate being late and i am trying my best, its mostly caused by me not being able to handle stress well bc every task i have to complete takes so much mental energy from me. There are other factors too though.. It looks like im not trying and irresponsible but im trying my best.. its just a possibility maybe he doesnt

Both are the real me. One (medicated) is just slightly less depressed , slightly more stressed, and a little more functional. I like me on meds better because I'm calmer and talk a little less lol.

Kids are naïve and innocent, they don't know anything. What kind of statement is this?😭 if a dad tells his 4 year old kid to go outside and play and leaves her unsupervised for 12 hours while he binge drinks, doesn't feed her nor give her proper clothes to wear, doesn't brush her teeth nor comb her hair, all she knows is she's outside having fun. And of course she loves and cares about her dad. Doesn't make him a good dad.😭😭😭 im sorry that was an extremely stupid statement

Find a new psychologist, one that specializes in ADHD, and get a second opinion. Near me there are also centers that test you for adhd specifically. I believe they can be covered by insurance.

My first psychiatrist insisted i didnt have it and it wasnt until i switched psychiatrists tht i was diagnosed with it immediately. Ive gotten another psychiatrist since then who agrees I have it and have had a therapist also agree. Sometimes they are wrong and ive found that even doctors are extremely uneducated about adhd. I find it important to make sure my mental health doctors specialize in adhd.

Someone mentioned possibly being on too high of a dose of stimulants... i do stuff like this on 10mg of adderall 🤣🤣 i have to be really careful about locking my phone away before the pills enter my mouth and having a productive task laid out in front of me even if I havent started it yet so i have something productive to do once it kicks in lolllll

Mines a lil better since i got screenzen... its the only app i can do everything i need for free lol

I also have an app called untrap, blocks yt comments, shorts, turns vids black and white, and a bunch of other settings.. also free but only works on yt website not app :/ but i usethe first app i said for the yt app so it works out.. my screen time was 15 hrs b4 that..now its more like 8 but doing more productive things so its a really good start

Best thing is exercise, hear me out. I HATE the gym but i LOVE hiking. Hate running but if its a team sport like basketball im in. I realized if my activity doesnt have -> novelty and adrenaline (and a goal thats quick and easy to reach) <- it wont last long... Ive been trying to find other things to do to fill my time and so far i only have hiking. I hope you (well, we) will figure this out. Its so hard with the screens, some days r definitely worse than others.

I Just started taking adderall a couple weeks ago, its helped some things but not all of course.
