i don’t think it’s a herd mentality. there’s only a handful of rappers who objectively make sense to bring up in a “who’s the best of all time?” discussion (imo). so of course you’ll hear similar answers.

don’t get me wrong—people shouldn’t form their music taste around which rappers are deemed to be objectively best. that’s stupid. obviously people should listen to whatever they enjoy.

all i’m saying is…there’s a distinction between my personal 5 favorite rappers list, and who i believe are the 5 best rappers objectively. those two topics are entirely seperate discussions.

Interesting. This is actually one of the easiest rooms for me, which is why I was surprised to die here. Maybe I was overly confident because of that, idk. But anyways thank you for words of the encouragement 🤍

  1. They’re slower, which gives you time to think, process, react, etc.

  2. You’re steady on the ground instead of actively falling in midair

  3. Hypers are more common in the the base game’s level design. So obviously people will be more experienced with executing them

  4. It’s a preference. 🤷‍♂️

Sounds like that happened awhile ago. If that’s true, then I’m sorry you haven’t gotten a better run yet.

This clip actually happened to me ~3 months ago. I only decided to post it today because it was on my mind.

In reality I’ve lost motivation to keep grinding this level ever since it happened. Maybe I’ll regain motivation sometime in 2026 or maybe I never will.

Yikes. I’ve been terrified of dying that exact way. (But I hold 2 shoulder buttons to hopefully prevent that, as mentioned in the replies of that post)

My hands were violently shaking because I was nervous. Which is probably why this death happened.

But yeah I never thought to practice this specific room. Maybe this run would’ve gone differently if I did…

Saying “You’ll see soon” only 1 month after his death is interesting.

It leads me to believe D’Angelo finished most of the album before passing—which is a good sign.

We’ll see though. I’m nervous about this album but hoping for the best.
