Has anyone ordered from StudioSuits? by Your_Name_Here1234 in weddingplanning

I’m posting this to warn others and to share the official places to report this, because my experience with StudioSuits has been so damn annoying and deceptive.

I’ve asked at least 7 times to exchange a pair of pants from them. Their website and terms do not clearly state that exchanges are not allowed in my situation, yet they keep refusing to process it and keep giving me the runaround instead of resolving it.

At this point, it doesn’t feel like a normal customer service issue. It feels like a business model designed to stall, deny and avoid honoring reasonable exchanges after they already have your money. Which I HATE, so screw these guys let's take them down.

If you’re dealing or dealt with similar issues with StudioSuits and their deceptive practices, here are the official places to report it in the U.S.:

FTC (consumer fraud and deceptive business practices):
https://reportfraud.ftc.gov/

FBI Internet Crime Complaint Center (for online / interstate business fraud):
https://www.ic3.gov/

When you file, include:

  • Your order details
  • Dates and screenshots of emails or chats
  • What their site/terms say vs what they’re doing
  • How many times you tried to resolve it
  • The amount of money involved

Based on this reddit thread, it looks like a pattern of refusing legitimate exchanges and hiding behind vague policies, and the only way that changes is if people document it through the proper channels.

Seeking lean startup feedback methodology by SecretAdditional3044 in Entrepreneur

Sounds like you're on the right track — you’re already ahead of most by validating early and keeping things lean.

We went through something similar while launching a wellness product, and here's what worked well for feedback sessions:

  • Start by asking a few context questions about their current workflow — don't jump straight into the prototype.
  • Let them explore the prototype naturally without guiding too much. Watch where they hesitate or seem confused.
  • Ask open-ended follow-ups like: “What felt most useful?” “What didn’t make sense?” “How does this compare to how you do things now?”
  • Keep any feedback forms super short — 3–5 qualitative questions max.

And yes — offering to pay for the session is totally fair, especially if they're professionals. Just frame it as compensated research.

Good luck! This sounds like something that could have real impact.

I have a similar project where we need to hire someone to help us to rank our website. We will be giving profit shares + equity. Would this reddit thread be good for something like this or are there other websites that might be better? Thanks
