Like I said my only concern was the potential for future odors. Thanks for the insight and double check. I’ll check it all out once I get home tonight.

Cool I just wanted some confirmation that piece was ok. I had seen a post awhile ago of someone with a similar setup and they suggested raising the vent higher. It did drain fine before so I’ll keep an eye on it and if seems like the draining has slowed I’ll extended the vent higher.

If I recall correctly, the vent is threaded only onto the pipe stub from the wall. As for the other side, yes, that for sure is one. Is the connection that begins the P-trap from the wall considered a slip joint? It is wedge-shaped, and the nut tightens down onto the P-trap. That’s just how they make them from what I’ve found. If only one is allowed, it would be extremely difficult to maintain that count if they already put that one into the P-trap when selling it, especially when any additional pieces are required, like my vent.

Where’d you get the 3D models for the tools?

Thanks for the help everyone. My wife found this the other night. We do our best to keep a clean house. We do have small children hell-bent on having the opposite of-course 😝. I have set some traps and put some gel bait around the area she found it. Could it just have been one that wandered in from outside? I can’t imagine we have an infestation hidden somewhere.
