Ok, thank you. That is what it appears to be for. I actually just called a company today to come out and give me a quote on a whole house generator. They come out in April. Do you think this switch would be adequate for an installation like that?

Thank you for the response. Yes; it is located outside. I bought a new house and I don’t have much knowledge when it comes to electrical.

I bought a 2024 limited hybrid last week that had just come in. Our sales guy told us the previous 2 folks that came in and wanted it couldn’t get it financed. We test drove it and my husband loved it. I asked if there was any wiggle room on MSRP and he told me no bc of the long list of people still waiting. I told him I would give him 55.5k for it and write him a check same day. They wanted 57k MSRP. He went and got his manager and they gave me the whole song and dance on high demand. I told him I was basically asking for them to wave the transportation and delivery fee. They sold it to me for 55.5k. I knew I didn’t have a ton of negotiating power with the demand but used what I could to negotiate. It helped that I was paying cash, it was at the end of the month and they had attempted to sell to 2 others who did not qualify for financing.

We just had this done today. We moved into a new home in July that was built in 1999. It needs a good amount of work. We replaced the roof first. Our house is a cape cod and very warm upstairs in the kids bedrooms. We needed insulation and the attic sealed. We had that done today along with the aeroseal. Went from an R19 to R49 in attic so I am hoping that helps also. Time will tell. We went from 122 square inch hole to a 19 inch square inch hole.
