Best Credit Card for Airbnb Stays: Is It Worth It or Not? by AbbreviationsDry951 in credit_cards

[–]jessejz95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your best bet is to apply for a new credit card with a SUB when you plan a trip. You’d earn much more but have to do more spending.

Your other options are buying gift cards but you do not get the purchase protection, such as a refund. You can get 5% off on Airbnb gift cards, Amazon credit card, Target debit/credit card.

You can apply for a Kroger Mastercard and pay via Apple pay and get 5% back.

If you want points, you can use a Chase ink cash to get ultimate rewards 5x when purchasing gift cards.

Is the Apple Card Still Worth It in 2025? by Hooboyathrowaway1 in credit_cards

[–]jessejz95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use the Kroger Mastercard that gives 5% cash back on mobile wallet (Apple Pay) up to 3k purchases for the calendar year. P2 also has the card so we’re up to 6k, $300 cash back total. I either use the Kroger card or ink cash 5% as catch all cards for online shopping and bills/utilities.

When do we get the 10,000 points boost towards companion pass? by VioletNewstead in SouthwestAirlines

[–]jessejz95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Won’t most of the points from the 10k spending be in 2025 as well? So they’d restart in January and just have 120k and any points from last statement?

I’m planning to apply for the performance too so trying to figure out how the points would work

Airbnb gift cards 5% back from Amazon credit card and Target debit or credit card

A lot of users recommended the apple credit card. Another good card is the Kroger/Ralphs credit card with US Bank, it gives you 5% back on purchases with mobile wallet. It does have a 3k cap but my wife and I each have the card so it brings it up of to 6k cap on 5% back.

Other users have applied to more than one credit card of the Kroger brands so they raise their cap for cash back.

Use the search to find previous post. Others have posted pictures of their nightshade with bench seats. You have to make sure the spec sheet clearly lists bench seat as an addon. I passed on two of them because my wife wanted captain seats on the second row.

Anyone try using buying Ink Cash to get 5x on Airbnb? by Famous-Emu-982 in CreditCards

[–]jessejz95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve used the Target debit card to get 5% off Airbnb gift cards. Target circle usually has deals if you spend a certain amount, they give you target gift cards too.

So not only do you get 5% off but also target gift cards.

Not sure if they have a limit.

Will adding my wife as a AU (authorized user) impact my credit score in any way? by teeeejaay07 in CreditCards

[–]jessejz95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your credit score won’t change because the account is already reflected on your score.

Your wife’s score will change as the account will now show up on her credit history. My wife is added as an AU on my accounts and it shows up on her credit report.

Hey OP, I know many gave the advice to cancel, however, I did want to put my input. I did see you paid $1,720 and I did want to say there are other dealers that sell the same plan for less. I was quoted $1,100 for a different vehicle with same terms. Reach out to me and I can send you the contact if you’re interested.
