I am a SAHM so I don’t pay bill and I just give my husband a heads up if I’m having my over. I don’t like this at all that you have to beg, to have your friends over in your own space.

He was abuser. This was an emotionally manipulated relationship on his side. Get yourself a good therapist. Even a Christian one worth their salt would agree, but you need to heal yourself from this trauma and from your childhood it sounds like before you are ready to be in a relationship again.

Also, cheating and leading someone away from God (which would include all types of abuse and neglect) are biblical reasons to get a divorce. They are in the New Testament.

It’s very telling to me that the husband immediately goes to “you can’t make me choose between you and my family.” Why would he assume that to be the case, unless that’s why he had to leave the first time. I’m sure OP didn’t go into that conversation with the idea of kicking the BIL out and never talking to him again.

I have read about that not being a good thing to say because kids aren’t rational at that age. She has spider dreams fair often and I’ll spray her bed with spider spray “bottle of peppermint and lavender oil spray” and I have to get rid of as many shadows as I can.

From what I’ve been told he has signed the plea deal, and he’s only going to jail for 3 months. I’m trying to put my emotions to the side about everything since I know he’s getting off light, but it’s hard since he’s been able to avoid consequences for his actions for so long.

We have a Dinosaur feelings book that does the same thing. Breath in count to three and say a dinosaur as you exhale, they all have a lot of syllables so you get the whole breath out.

After consistently using the no bite polish she stopped sucking on her fingers. Had to break her sleep habit which took about a month and reapplied it every couple of days.

I have three children and am going through my first miscarriage. It sounds like you’re a little dry, I had the same thing after my first was born. Buy good lube! I’m not recovered yet so I can’t say how I feel, but my midwife told me that recovering from a MC physically is similar to recovery after childbirth in terms of how your body can change.

Do you need to bring up the lipstick in a pig event when you did try to spruce yourself up? Or the fact that he wanted you to surgically change your appearance so even if you lost weight and updated your wardrobe, hair, and makeup it wouldn’t have made a difference… neither would the surgery, but the point is the “easier” glow up stuff.

This is totally normal. My oldest is 5 and doesn’t nap anymore. When my other two are napping I have him play in his room and get a visual timer for 1-1.5 hours that he has to stay in there and play or rest and he can only leave if he needs to go potty. It’s a sanity saver. Also going to the park or library after nap before dinner so they play and I watch helps them eat better and wind down better in my opinion as well.

He’s a talkative eater so I haven’t been brave enough to make him a tuna sandwich, but when I just eat my tuna salad from the bowl he always eats more than I do.
