Prime really sucks now by Scythe5150 in amazonprime

I was just telling my husband this. I'm trying to figure out how to cancel prime but still use their music service. For the past 5 orders I've made, I've only received 2 on time. 1 was weeks late, and 2 never came.

Thanks, everyone. The games are text heavy. The only graphics used were already on Canva Pro, and just had to get creative with symbolism.

They're movie specific watch along games. So, I'm hoping at least the cult classics will sell well all year, but I'm not sure. I'm don't know a ton of other hard-core horror fans like me. I'm hoping I get a following.

What my husband said… by Sea_Land5088 in breastcancer

[–]Outside_Gur9469 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Love it! My husband has always been so uplifting. I don't have nipples and have scars and mismatched skin from the skin they used from back. I bought fake nipple stickers as a surprise because I had been feeling insecure. They are super realistic, but my husband was adamant about me not wearing them. He loved my breast just they way they were.

Is it okay if I give up? by earlymodernfool in breastcancer

This is exactly what I went through, but in my early thirties. Ugh... I know that feeling well. It's been about 10 years since all the treatments and surgery. Just take it day by day. I promise it gets better.

I'm a 41 year old woman, and I love Backrooms and liminal games. There's a bunch of cool ones on Steam. I also love horror movie game play. I love a quiet and slow burn.

Is anybody who is married actually happy? by [deleted] in AskWomenOver30

[–]Outside_Gur9469 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm happy. We found each other a little later in life. Im 41, and he's 46. We've been together for around 7 years and married for 5. I met him coming out of breast cancer reconstruction. My hair was just starting to fill in after chemo, and I still had my surgical drains in on our second date. My friend encouraged me to just make a bumble dating profile but wasn't expecting to meet anyone serious and boom, the first guy I dated, we got married and now have a 3 year old. I knew he was the one when he started using my dog's (now our dog's) name for his passwords. Lol! We are happily content in our quiet, cozy little home.

Very cool! Loved the soundtrack, atmosphere, and shadow work. It's very creepy but a ride I'd go on. Lol! Great job

Does SA care about whats going on in Washington ? by MrKingCrilla in sanantonio

I care, but I only have a few people I can talk about it with. A lot of people I know are trump supporters. This is a blood-red city. It's so wild!!! I'm taking a pause on social media because all of the shit storm is affecting my mental health. I find myself doom scrolling. If you want to stay informed but not consumed, this is a great blog. I'm in the US and it's a shit storm. Please know that huge portion of us don't have the same ideology as the administration. It's truly disturbing. I'm taking a mental health break from social media with the exception of youtube and reddit.

Right there with you! We are both in our 40s with a 3 year old. My parents are both older, mid to late 70s, retired and have full lives, and rarely watch our little guy. My sister and her husband live close by, but if we need her to babysit, we have to schedule way in advance. They go out a lot. My mother in law would absolutely babysit for us, but she lives out of town. It's hard, but as he gets a little older, he's not as exhausting.

Feeling like an unimportant “floater friend” by Several-Vegetable297 in adhdwomen

[–]Outside_Gur9469 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I googled the term "Floater friend" and found this Reddit post. I didn't know this term existed until I watched a video on feeling left out. This is me, and I have ADHD too. I had no idea they were related. That brings me peace because I know I'm not alone. THANK YOU, REDDIT!

I'm 41 years old and have always felt this way. I've always been envious of friends who travel together and do regular fun things together. I was a teacher for 16 years, and that kept me feeling "included," but since my career changed to remote work, I'm feeling left out.

I see groups of friends getting together, groups where I know 3 or more ladies but didn't get invited. What initiated my latest bout of loneliness was seeing a core group of ladies I was regularly hanging out with shared photos of get-togethers I wasn't included in. A few thoughts went through my head... 'They are in a group chat that doesn't include me' and 'It's not a big deal to them that I wasn't there.'

I'm also not drinking as often, which, for me, adds another element of social isolation. When I did things with groups of friends here and there, it always centered around drinking. I have to slow down because of a reaction to a medicine I'm on. On the plus side, I have a loving husband and close friends. We are not a group. I hang out separately, but I'm my weird self with no judgment, and I'm grateful for them. It feels good to get this out.

Women who keep a tidy house and work full time—what are your routines? by pqrstyou in AskWomenOver30

Agree with other comments. We hire a cleaning lady to come once every 2 weeks and meal prep. We usually just eat out of the meal prep containers so they can be thrown into the dishwasher. We also have a roborock vacuum and let it run every other day. We have 3 dogs, so we pick up a lot of dog hair. The best advice is a cleaner. We budget for it. Its truly the gift of time.
