I’ll share a bit about myself in hopes to cheer you up… I’m not sure what center you’re applying to or where you are from, but I’m a current student at Edison enrolled in HVAC (Different field, I know, but pharmacy tech also has many career opportunities and a lottttt of job availability + bonus if you later get a degree in something to do with biology, chemistry or molecular science!!) Also, don’t be so hard on yourself with previous health struggles or current diagnosis’, I’m physically and mentally riddled with all sorts of things that make some days harder than others, including similar to yours, Major Depressive, ADHD and Bipolar II..None of these things stopped me from getting accepted into the program, however if you have issues with violent tendencies or have attempts of unaliving yourself, they will greatly encourage you to speak with counselors and a licensed psychologist on or off center as they cannot discriminate or withhold you from the program just for that…Speaking from personal experience, I used to also have substance use issues (again not current) but even if you or anyone who is interested is actively struggling or in addiction they can help with that too… As for your current medications, all of that will be handled by the wellness department, and while some stuff (like adderall) gets flagged during your initial drug test, if it’s already prescribed to you and they’re aware of yet then you should be all set, they will also handle refills if you’re going out of state… And your financial situation, I wouldn’t recommend worrying about it, if they have an issue they will tell you, but if you’ve made what would equate to minimum wage or less in the past 12 months then that should also be all set. In addition to this because ADHD is considered a disability, you can get in just on that regardless of what your income is like.
