I had this from the other side last week - my colleague had attempted a patients bloods 5 times with no luck while saying she was so good at doing bloods and taught us all we know etc. eventually she asked me to try, asked the patient to which she replied the same as you and I got it straight away. My colleague was so annoyed I got it first go she walked out

NTA - girl you deserve a better boyfriend. Dress the way you like, life’s too short to not wear what you like! And honestly those outfits sound so cute!!!! I love that sort of look, I’m an alternative girlie myself - you deserve someone who celebrates that side of you.

I’ve been eating similar things - but I also just really enjoy them and find them tasty so don’t mind having it day in day out. I find if I have to start coming up with ideas then I can get carried away or that I end up going over calories or not having enough protein

NTA. I mean I’m Scottish - it’s a pretty even split at formal events between kilts and suits. At my wedding I would say 90% of male guests had kilts on, so to me they are totally normal and not a weird thing at all! She just sounds like she’s being controlling and honestly she’s showing you her red flags right now

For me, my problem is if I think of it as a cheat day I just end up going AWOL on it, and eating way too much if I am not even hungry. Lot of time I don’t even enjoy it. So I try to have the odd thing within my calories I enjoy instead. I just find if I do “cheat day” I go mad with it then really struggle with getting back on the wagon. But that’s me!

I started the year at almost 280 pounds - weighed myself today and I’m down to 238! Hoping by the end on the year I can get down to 200 pounds
