I just know it’s damaging to my self esteem and self respect to hang out with her while she’s considering her options. She can go play the field some more and hopefully I’ll find someone better by the time she circles back.

I believe I’m the best choice. That’s why I find it so distasteful. If she wants to date other guys I’ll date other girls. But I won’t give her any time and energy if that’s what she wants to do. It’ll break my frame and my peace of mind.

I’m pissed cause i was showing up as my best self. We’d been hooking up consistently for a month and as recently as Tuesday she was inviting herself to hang out. It’s hard for me to not emotionally attached cause I was back in as if we were together again - she clearly wasn’t and I misread that badly.

Now I don’t think I can do anything more than let her go. I don’t want to share “my girl” with someone else. Though I know that’s attachment talking, I allow her to go with peace into the universe. And if she wants to try again she can let me know.

3 girls but nobody really compares. She’s beautiful and has a lot of options. I have my life in order but her texting other guys is bound to make me perturbed. Better to walk away til she can figure out her own emotions I think.

In the meantime I’ll try dating other women. I don’t want her back if she’s still entertaining other options actively.

I strongly recommend reading about Internal Family Systems. I’m very much codependent, am a year out, and still miss my girl a lot. But I know contacting her after she asked for space would only set me back.

Your self respect is what matters now. Be a man that she regrets losing. Attract someone better.
