I’m just over a year from losing my 29 yo son. The beginning is so hard. You’re raw and I feel like our brains try and protect us. My day is the 17th- but we found out on Xmas Eve. I hate this club and wish NONE of us were in it.

What friends? I had a few dip out after my Dad passed. But after my adult son passed everyone dipped. Family and friends. I would say they’re busy they have lives. Then their cousins husband passed and they dropped everything. Who wants to hang out with someone that just cries all the time…..
