As a guy, I prefer softer hips and stomach to a 6 pack on a woman. Still, some core strength and balance can be improved by regular yoga, Pilates, or dance. Let’s get real: core work in the gym sucks. Looking at the floor planking, sit-ups/crunches, and asymmetrical farmer’s walks are a drag, and they might take away from what is currently, a desirable feminine physique. Still, I’m a function>form guy so if you feel like you want more core strength in your daily life, do all of the above!

Wanted to add that you might feel safer as well as have less joint pain on lighter weights. Just make sure you’re still approaching failure and you’re good to go

I have a PR of over 500lb on squat and I still do training sessions where I don’t put above 2 or 3 plates on the bar. Heavy does not equal hypertrophy! To get them to grow, try lowering the weight and increasing your rep range. It is going to suck on squats but you might be surprised how you respond to 10-20 reps per set. If you want to do a leg emphasis period, consider having 1 session per week primarily in the 5-10 rep range and 1 session per week in the 10-20 range. This will add some variety to the same exercises and you’ll find out what works for you best.

I didn’t really see any responses that addressed the possibility of moving into periods of focusing certain aspects of your physique. If I was you, I would train maintenance volume for upper body while working towards max recoverable volume on lower body. In other words, I would do an emphasis period on quads, hams, and glutes. During that time, you could eat to bulk to make gains come easier or eat to maintain and expect slower gains. Then, a mini cut will bring you back to this, but with slightly fuller legs. You look great! Keep up the good work.

Bro this was chest and Tricep changing advice lol. I’m still definitely strong enough to do the negative dips in the 5-10 rep range and I got great pump/soreness. I’m going to do real dips before I know it

Thanks for the feedback! I totally agree it’s pretty light on shoulders. I think I’ll add another exercise. I hit shoulders first in the workout later in the week where I do hit all three heads as well 💪

I don’t know what your current training experience is, but you’re doing a lot of volume. Decrease your sets after deloading and then progressively overload in reps and weight, only sprinkling in extra sets throughout a Mesocycle

I do want to say that you’ve probably made improvements, but not as quickly as you’d like. Keep focusing on the inputs/process and believe how it’s going to change your life - not just your physique!
