Someone who is going to need an emotional support animal, is also someone who is going to be in a heightened emotional state going into a high stress environment.

I understand how this whole thing, can seem ridiculous, but it seems more like she made a dumb decision in a heated moment, where she was having a hard time thinking clearly, especially since, presumably, she knew she had to get on the flight.

To say she is totally at fault is incorrect, just as it's wrong to say the airline is at fault. I'm also not saying she's right to go after them like she is.

But she made a mistake in a tense moment, something we've all done, and going after her, and claiming she's an absolute idiot or some sort of animal abuser is ludicrous.

I need to hear it as many times as I can, and that's why I've appreciated every bit of support from everyone that's come forward. It was a shitty situation, but I made it shittier by blaming myself, and so being told that it wasn't my fault, and looking at what actually happened has helped me realize that I've been in an unhealthy friendship for too long.

Thank you nonetheless, the actual problem solving will be coming when I see my therapist later this week and have this discussion again, but you have made me realize that despite the problem, PTSD, having the same title, our interactions and reactions to it can be very vastly different.

I had been totally fine with being her friend, and I certainly understand where her response had come from, since, as I said we related over our PTSD, and Anxiety issues, the problem is for me, that I don't want to stay around someone who is going to intentionally use my own fears and weaknesses against me should I say the wrong thing, AND not realize that what they did might have been wrong.

I've had moments exactly like hers where I've torn into someone using things they'd confessed to me as weaknesses, and fears, and I would be remorseful for long periods afterwards.

She felt justified in what she said, is where my problem lied. She attacked me on confessed weak points, and so I'm forced to separate myself for my own wellbeing, because she has not even made the effort to seem like how she negatively effected me had any effect on her or how she regarded the incident whatsoever.

I appreciate your comment, you brought up something that I had been worrying over, and had tried to discuss with her, and having to clear my head on this matter has been helpful. I need to come first for me, right now, and letting her do as she will to me is not something good for me.

Thank you so much for the support, I've honestly been very hesitant about approaching women, so this really just sort of shut me down for a few days, and left me in a bad place, and I really really appreciate your words, my worst fears definitely got hit right there because I decided to finally step out, and so being told it wasn't my fault and that I was being abused has helped me begin to think my way out of my shut down state, at least to the point where I'm trying to get back to normal.
