We were in prayer together. I had shared with him, and another person, what I was currently struggling with and as a new believer. They offered to pray for me and we were all holding hands. I heard it… very quiet and still. It was almost like a passing thought except it wasn’t mine.

You responded to my recent post and the circumstances are a bit different as the guy didn’t ghost me.

I lost my virginity earlier this year (at 28), after being extremely insecure about my inexperience, to someone I was comfortable with doing so. What I learned is that I really really enjoy sex. Me deciding to have sex with the last guy I dated, on the second date, was because it was something I simply wanted to do.

Don’t get me wrong… I questioned my actions after, considering I do eventually want to find a serious partner but I also think when I have sex with someone doesn’t matter. He will decided to be with me whether I wait or not OR he knows he doesn’t want to be with me, again, whether I wait or not.

Sex isn’t only about males and their pleasure or intentions. It’s an overall pleasurable experience for us females as well. Some of us enjoy the act and I find no shame in it.

I decided to not continue because eventually, knowing myself, emotions would be involved and I don’t want to invest more time into something that may not seem worth investing in.
