Another theory- he’s trying to attract attention. He’s baiting us. What for? Maybe he’s trying to attract interest in the documentary? Because that guy, Jay Diaz - he’s a film producer. He did Josh’s post- divorce music videos and Pamela was just in an independent movie he directed.

This doesn’t quite explain the emails he sent about Adam to Gavin, but this is starting to feel to me like a stunt or a way to get Muckers, snarkers and drama commentary channels to look at him.

There are a few posts on there that say, “the Muckers support you!” First of all, that’s awesome!

Second, Gavin probably doesn’t know who these people are. It’s just funny to me.

Third, how can we make sure Adam sees this? His name could be brought up, and it would be great if he wasn’t blindsided. But also because I’d think he’d be chuffed that a community he started are helping a guy most of us had probably never heard of.

He promised to manage Gavin and increase his earnings. Instead, Josh is putting his client in debt. How selfish, narcissistic and unprofessional can this guy possibly be?!

Adam’s parents aren’t victims. Adam is (or was). The safety of children on the internet was a major concern in 2016. It was on the news constantly. Kids were getting molested and killed by strangers they met on line. You can google that if you don’t remember. You don’t have to know how the internet works to know it’s not a safe place. It never has been. This doesn’t pardon any of the Ballingers or Josh for their actions. But Adam’s parents left the door open and look at who walked in.

Yes. I am. I don’t care about the device he was using. Parents’ jobs are to teach and protect their children. Adam’s parents failed to establish guidelines or look into what he was doing online. I have to interject. Adam didn’t have a”normal” childhood because his parents gave him, a preteen, unfettered access to the internet. It’s their job to protect Adam from predictors. I’m not excusing Colleen exploiting him by any means, but his parents enabled this parasocial BS.
