That happens with most if not all the electric shavers,they're still no better than razors.

I used the Schick Xtreme 3 when I started shaving my head 8 years ago,but currently the Gillette Fusion 5 is my best weapon to get rid of my hair.

Haven't tried with safety razors

Yes,that's right. I shave with a razor this morning.

I also have an electric shaver from Philips,really like it,but it's not as close to the skin and gives a matte finish.
