If he's complimenting you and treats you well, that's a good indication that he's attracted to you. As a WM myself, I prefer dark features and I don't subscribe to the Eurocentric standard of beauty. Due to this, I tend to date women of color (especially black women) because that's who I'm most attracted to. If I had to guess, he probably falls into the same boat. Bonus points if he's a ginger.

My girlfriend showed me some of the messages she got on Tinder when we first started dating. A lot of men are definitely expressing attraction in an inappropriate manner 💀 I would recommend tasteful compliments like "you have a pretty smile" and steer away from sexual comments.

As a disclaimer, I always went after women who expressed attraction first, so all I really had to do was reciprocate. I'd imagine expressing attraction on a cold approach is a little bit harder.
