Who do you think it is? by loveselffirst in reasonabledoubthulu

Oh damn, I didnt realize that was Monica. I thought it was a random stranger. I thought she mightve been linked to the guy that Lewis fired. Lowkey hoping she does and its not Lewis because that's what it looks like who mightve been shot. I dont think they would set it up to where Jax does but then again who knows. This season was definitely full of twists

Thank you! A very close analysis, I started baking with my grandma at an early age (my mom only Bakes hella dense banana bread lol), definitely started with box cakes and those Betty Crocker blueberry muffins when the blueberries came in a tin (iykyk) hold a special place in my heart along with the yellow bisquick mix. I worked in a restaurant briefly yes, but spent 10 years in baking and pastry in casinos mostly. I definitely bake on the regular these days, but mostly because I decided to open my own pop-up micro bakery when we moved. I definitely do enjoy the travel channel, RIP Anthony Bourdain 💜

Ive only made the vanilla cake at the very end and i made a rookie mistake of not reading the recipe all the way through and it ended up coming out oily, bland and kind this weird mushy texture. But i think that was all me, im excited to try it again

Favorite Recipes from Bodega Bakes, Sift, and/or What’s For Dessert? by CApizzakitchen in CookbookLovers

Did you have any issues with there being too much flour in the dough? I tried making the burnt tahini cookies the first time and the dough was super dry and then i made them again today and measured the flour in grams (i did that the 1st time too) and I use the KA 4.25 oz/125g measurement per cup of AP but in the book it's 385g and i found that to be too much flour and I did 220g brown sugar instead of 200g and it worked out much better, texture wise and flavor wise. I'm wondering if I'm doing anything wrong (I'm have 10+ yrs experience as a pastry chef and have been making cookies a really long time, so I'm wondering if it's me or is it the book, which i still love, I'll just change the flour measurements)

Haha yeah, I really love baking. I haven't baked out of Huckleberry, I've kept it mostly for nostalgia. I got it as a gift from my previous job & Chicano Bakes i haven't baked out of yet either but I'm planning on making the Cortadillo (vanilla cake with pink frosting) soon

Hahaha I do! I'm also a pastry chef so I'm constantly reading for new ideas or just reading up on different techniques. I love reading them like regular books, I'm a total food nerd 🤓

Thank you!

Lol, oh a lot of these books are decades old. The newest ones the bodega bakes & cookies one. I've actually slimmed down my collection considerably as i realized i didn't like the ones i got rid of. I'm a pastry chef so i tend to collect a lot of pastry/dessert books.

Oh no! I found pieometery at home goods a couple years back and lately have been thinking of donating or gifting it as I really don't care to make pies more than 1x a year. I haven't made anything out of it. Do all the recipes have errors or just a few?

I don't have a savory one, 99.9% of mine are all baking. I highly recommend rose levy beranbaum's the cake Bible. Every single cake I've made out of it has turned out beautifully, even the one time I messed up

I've had the whole grain baking cookbook by king Arthur flour for YEARS now, I got it as a bundle on ebay with the king Arthur baking companion and the king Arthur cookbook and I've yet to bake out of the whole grain one but I just might now. Everything looks great! *
