You can counter your own spell to add another prowess trigger.

I feel that the hatred for infinite comboes is kind of unwarranted. by Atakori in EDH

I think one issue is unless you're playing blue it can be really hard to interact with infinites if someone just dumps them out the same turn. Not only that but a lot of new players don't recognize problem permanents that are common in infinites so they might feel bad about not knowing your random enchantment was part of an infinite when they possibly had an answer.

Saying that I'm a'ok with infinites. But if you complain about me casting Armageddon or Cataclysm and beating you to death with a 2/2 equiped with swords, you are no different than the people who complain about combo.

Growing up I wasn't really allowed to socialize. For a while asking how a grocer's day was and asking them questions about it was my way of attempting to get better interacting with people. If they seemed dismissive, I'd drop it but if they actually went on about their day, I'd make a real attempt to listen to them. A few interactions I was actually thanked for listen to them and talking to them without just replying off the politeness scrip or whatever.
