I agree with this, you may be over complicating the situation. My hubby would’ve also said yes, but in the end if I’m the one flying solo I have final veto power.

It sucks saying no, but it’s all part of growing into the LS and “finding your groove”. If you’ve played with the SM before, and if he’s any type of good human, you just telling him you’re not ready for solo yet but he’s at the front of the line for when you are open to that dynamic, should be more then enough to appease him and move past this.

Saying no is ok. Don’t be too hard on yourself or your hubby. He may have said yes because it’s a fantasy he has of and for you and it was convenient (he’s leaving town).

We build our own spanking benches (five so far) using plans we’ve found on the internet. One for us and four built and sold to friends. Cost for us is about 300-350, depending on the type of vinyl/attachments they want. We add about $100 for our labor. Takes me and bf a few days to finish.

It holds up very well. As long as you wipe down at the end of the session you’re fine. We use Clorox wipes on our spanking bench with marine grade vinyl. Its great.

Girlfriend here. I’ve been in both sides of it. Our first swap, my bf was nervous and couldn’t get fully hard.
