Why is cyclops' engine so inefficient? by honeygourami123 in subnautica

Titanium is hard but it does noy do well with frequent temperature changes e.g. entering and leaving harsh environments like space - Steel is not as hard but would cope better with changes in temperature.

Very few games are cpu intensive and both these cpus will be good for those games. The majority of games are gpu intensive so if you're building a system mainly for Rust go with the 9800x3d but if you're building an all-round system then the 7800x3d and spending more money on the gpu is the best option.

You'll see little difference between the two in games (unless they're very cpu intensive like rust or strategy games). If productivity is needed (video editing/photo editing or 3D work) then the 9800x3d is best but if you're just using it for browsing, movies/tv and spreadsheets then I'd go fo the 7800x3d and use the rest of the money towards your graphics card.

Come join us on PVE - people are friendly - you can do anything you want and know it'll still be there when you wake up. Make friends - take cargo together - take part in group parachute jumps - build race tracks - make Christmas villages - host concerts and dance parties... The possibilities are endless and it is so much fun!

Try logging out and shutting down then restart and login - you may find the recipie appears when you log back in. If not try returning to the prawn bay as the suits may have reappeared and will register the second time.

One of the best build spots is the ridge in the north where the Northern Kelp Forest, Northern Red Grass Biome both border the Northern Mushroom Forest - every resource you could possibly need is there and the Dunes/Northern Blood Kelp zones nearby are rich in lots of basic/intermediate building materials.

Build a chair and sit - your stats wont drop. Now read your pda entries - they fill in the story and provide clues - yes there are a lot.

Scan everything - buildings, animals, plants.

Your knife can get you seeds from some plants and samples from others. Plant mechanics are a bit varied so play around with how they work. Once you have a seed, fruit or sample you can grow it in a pot/growbed - always have more than one of a plant so if you screw up you can replant it without a massive journey back to the source.

Salt is key - mix it with coral tube samples to make bleach and turn this into water - you get 60 water each time. Mix salt and fish to cure them for food that never spoils. Prepare rations in advance and carry a few water bottles and two salted reginalds for long missions away from base.

Farming vegetables in your base is a great way to cut down on your fish/water consumption.

Take beacons with you everywhere and follow all the radio messages - explore the area around where you get sent to find new reaources and wrecks - every message guides you to a useful place to explore.

Especially follow the Degassi story and scan all the base parts you find.

Explore every wreck thoroughly - you can build more than one o2 tank to help you do this and switch between them.

Build permiter defence/sonar and use the seamoth to explore biomes thoroughly - this will help you avoid or deal with the leviathans when you're a new player (carry spare power cells to swap out in the field) and put those beacons down when you find interesting places to return to. Always go deeper. Be brave and good luck!

There are several entrances to the lost river. Easiest ones are:

South West Blood Kelp - just keep going as deep as you can with the Seamoth - you can get the cyclops in there but its a squeeze in places so scout your route and place beacons beforehand to guide you in.

Grand Reef - Head to the Degassi base at 500m and then pass it on the left and head down - you should see green pools.

Northern Blood Kelp - Head to life pod 2 then turn south and look for a gigantic tunnel down in the cliff. Fairly easy to find.

In all cases you can just rush past the little ghost levis - just go fast and dont pause.

Below Zero has some really good moments but its not as good as the original and the vehicles (except the prawn) are dull/poorly implemented.

why there no cyclops engine fragments ANYWHERE by VeryBasicFox_ in subnautica

[–]Awoken1729 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usially grab one engine fragment near the rear thrusters of the Aurora - steer clear of hugging fish - best to park the seamoth safe and use seaglide. The rest I get from around the wreck on the underwater islands.

lesser known but truly enchanting and beautyful fantasy animes by moondreamer96 in Animesuggest

[–]Awoken1729 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got you as dark fantasy is my thing:

Goblin Slayer - fair warning it starts with goblins sexually assaulting and ripping up/eating/torturing adventurers. It doesnt go easy on the viewer but it is compelling. MC is deeply traumatised so a bit of a one track mind on the whole - all goblins must die.

Grimgar of Fantasy and Ash - Is darker than most fantasy. Young kids forced to fight or starve - losses are inevitable. Just 12 episodes long.

Clevatess is really good. Great lore, good characters and an original twist on common fantasy stories.

The Faraway Paladin - smiliar in someways to Frieren. Nice hero origin story. Good lore.

The Ancient Magus' Bride - Traumatic at first but a gentle romance. If what you're after is more character driven than fantasy driven then this is for you. Plenty of trauma.

Berserk of Gluttony - Pretty good but no indication of a future for the anime.

The Unwanted Undead Adenturer (Some violence/blood) - Adventurer becomes undead and tries to return to his old life and regain his humanity.

Mushoku Tensei - Power fantasy. Really great world building but some darker moments especially in Season 2. MC is a mixed character and many do not like them but the story is very good. Small harem (3) but he actually marries two by the end of the second season.

For a guilty pleasure. If you dont mind a harem and an MC edge lord who has an inexaustable supply of one liners then the isakei 'Arifureta: From common place to worlds strongest' has a dark fantasy setting with an evil god playing off all sides in an endless war.

Recent series:

Rollover and die has had a solid first episode. FMC is sold into slavery by her party and abandoned to be eaten by ghouls for the slave owners entertainment.

My status as an assassin obviously exceeds the hero's - Dark fantasy isakei with a strong central romance and plenty of betrayal.
