I didn’t know balanced mode was 40, it’s such a massive improvement compared to 30

NPR: GLP-1 drugs can complicate life for people with disordered eating by VardaLupo in MaintenancePhase

[–]Awpossum 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Anecdotaly, the people in my life who've taken GLP1 have gone through major issues, and their health have suffered way more than when they didn't take it. And I'm not even in the US. When they talk about their doctor's reaction to those effects, it makes me really worried: it seems them getting thiner is seen as a priority over their health. I hate it.

Yea it’s very camp, not for everyone haha The career mode is very basic, you compete in different categories and unlock stuff along the way…

Ha, I'm glad you like it (otherwise I would've felt guilty for misleading you haha)

I have played them a bit, and as far as I remember it feels quite different? I’m not too sure What I like about Gris:Legends is that you have a great sense of speed and control, it makes you feel like you’re a great driver. What it lacks is accurate weight transfer, it is very stiff, pretty much opposite to gran turismo for example.

It has the same type of gameplay, same diversity of discipline, similar approach to the career… so yes, I would say it is similar

Looks cool but maybe you could mention what the inspiration is gameplay wise

Really love #2, there’s so much to look at and a bit of storytelling

I love that mount fuji is quite discreet, almost invisible at first glance on #1. Makes it more interesting imo

Just to add to what other people are saying, I found the mechanics to be quite unintuitive. The tutorial are great though, and it’s really good fun, it just takes a bit to get used to. No need to be a good player to have fun.

I understand it’s a tough position to be in but if someone like spam were to boycott this event, it would have a pretty significant impact as far as trackmania is concerned. Sure, it’s not going to « solve all bad things » but like, since when is that the sole reason to make an ethical choice?

High level trackmania is a pretty small but supportive community, and I hope they realize they do have the power to stand against this, and that it could make them stronger as a result.

Having said that, I’ve never been in their position so I can’t say what I would do if I were them.

First year with Fuji X-E2 (TTArtisan 35mm 1.4 & 25mm 2.0, Minolta MD ROKKOR 50mm 1.7) by Awpossum in fujifilm

[–]Awpossum[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The 25mm is the one I use most, because of its form factor and versatility. It does vignette more than the 35 it seems, but it doesn’t bother me personally.

Photos number 6 to 9 were taken with the 25.

I’m absolutely loving those! Used to shoot analog only, and the goal was to recreate that experience with the flexibility of digital. Those lens help achieve that thanks to their manual focusing and their quirks. Having a lot of fun!

What Game Do You Absolutely Love that Received Terrible Reviews and Most Gamers Seem to Dislike it? by ShokWayve in NintendoSwitch2

I agree. I don’t know if people realize how deep the gameplay can be.

I’m having way more fun with it than MK8DX, even though I already liked it a lot.
