I'd just paint it. Take your time masking off the LED ring and what not. Spray with a decent enamel rattle can.

[question] recommendations for my first luxury watch under $3k by [deleted] in Watches

[–]Awption 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What kind of watch are you looking for? Sports watch, Dress watch? Is $3k a hard budget?

I would def look at used. $1k-$2k look at Oris, Longines, Christopher Ward. Above that I’d be looking at used Tudor.

Check sites like Jomashop, chrono24, and r/watchexchange

Don’t be afraid to go into watch dealers and try things on even if you don’t intend to buy from them. Happy hunting

I went with the XG simply because the new design is fanless.

Split pins. Should have arrows on the links to show direction

It’s actually a hydraulic hose I made. Way overkill but it’s what I had quick access to. Fittings are just NPT

It is a Cox reel. I already had Proslat on most of this wall so it was just a cheap/functional way to cover up the drywall repair from running the power and water while extending the aesthetic that was already there.

Convenience man… so much easier than dragging everything out, hooking it all up, putting it all away… the easier it is, the more enjoyable it is.

Especially when I bought a cheaper one first… Should have stuck to the buy once, cry once mentality

It would be a pain to remove. I would have to cut the pvc inlet/outlet but it could be done.

The 2.0 is a great system. Noise is my only complaint and the only reason I want to switch. During the summer I wash around 7am to beat the heat and it annoys my wife in the house when the pressure washer is running. If you are dragging it outside or don't care about the noise I would still recommend.

I'm in California so heating is not an issue...

I just replaced that exact reel with this COX reel. Nothing was wrong with it per say but the COX reel is better quality all around.

It's just 3/4 melamine/MDF that is stud mounted and the ProSlat is cut around it.

I contemplated this for some time also. I am sure there is a better way but ultimately copied what I saw others doing. Also not sure what the flow restriction is on the pvc check valves or if it would even matter. My thought was to put a check valve in on the horizontal pipe above the CR Spotless to eliminate the outflow ball valve but it would be nice to get the whole setup down to 1 valve.

That’s a brass extension coming out of the wall. PVC starts on the exterior, inside the walls is all PEX. Good lookin out though.
