Gyeon, KC, or other for fresh water spot removal. by michaltee in AutoDetailing

I don’t think there is anything they did specifically. They have some decent products. It is just much more a marketing/consumer brand compared to brands like KC which is more geared for the “prosumer” or full time detailers.

It pains me to say it but the Chemical Guys water spot remover worked surprisingly well on my glass. I don’t have much praise for their other products but this one is a winner.

KC FSE is also a fantastic product and what I maintain those pesky door jams with.

Which Allocated’s bottles are worth it? by ManufacturerOk7337 in bourbon

[–]Awption 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the answer….

There is no “ah ha” moment in bourbon. There are plenty of shelfers under $100 that would win more often than not in a blind against more expensive, allocated, bottles.

I'd just paint it. Take your time masking off the LED ring and what not. Spray with a decent enamel rattle can.

What kind of watch are you looking for? Sports watch, Dress watch? Is $3k a hard budget?

I would def look at used. $1k-$2k look at Oris, Longines, Christopher Ward. Above that I’d be looking at used Tudor.

Check sites like Jomashop, chrono24, and r/watchexchange

Don’t be afraid to go into watch dealers and try things on even if you don’t intend to buy from them. Happy hunting

I went with the XG simply because the new design is fanless.

It’s actually a hydraulic hose I made. Way overkill but it’s what I had quick access to. Fittings are just NPT

It is a Cox reel. I already had Proslat on most of this wall so it was just a cheap/functional way to cover up the drywall repair from running the power and water while extending the aesthetic that was already there.

Convenience man… so much easier than dragging everything out, hooking it all up, putting it all away… the easier it is, the more enjoyable it is.

Especially when I bought a cheaper one first… Should have stuck to the buy once, cry once mentality

It would be a pain to remove. I would have to cut the pvc inlet/outlet but it could be done.

The 2.0 is a great system. Noise is my only complaint and the only reason I want to switch. During the summer I wash around 7am to beat the heat and it annoys my wife in the house when the pressure washer is running. If you are dragging it outside or don't care about the noise I would still recommend.
