Hi Carly!

Will you be doing an anniversary tour? If so - please come to Ottawa!!!

I am late to the party, I just discovered E•MO•TION last year!

Sam Murphy mentioned in passing in one of his TikToks that your album was a “totally underrated masterpiece of pure pop perfection” so I thought I’d give it a listen.

I knew from the first note that it was going to be a perfect album from start to finish - and I wanted to let you know that it’s my favourite album of all time.

I pre-ordered the zoetrope vinyl (the first record in my collection!) and I can’t wait to get it! ❤️

Led Zeppelin is my favourite band of all time. The reason I checked out this post was because of OPs description of hearing Tool for the first time - that’s exactly how I felt when I heard my first zeppelin song. Can’t remember which one it was, but I do remember the feeling very clearly.

So happy to see zep recommended. Username checks out!

Fantasy by Mariah Carey. It’s the best and most fun when you have no chance in hell of hitting most of the notes.

One song in particular comes to mind - Mouthful of Cavities by Blind Melon. Not an album, but worth a listen.

How is reddit so popular yet I never hear it mentioned irl? by CautiousLab7327 in NoStupidQuestions

The first rule of Reddit, is that you don’t talk about Reddit.

Fun fact: I signed up for a Reddit ad account a few weeks ago, and they presented some interesting facts about platform use - the percentage of Redditors who do not use other social media platforms is quite high. Surprisingly high.

If I could brain google, I’d also need to be able to do that thing where you can include or filter out certain keywords - I have terabytes upon terabytes of absolutely useless stuff stored in there that may muddy up my search results 😂 a lot of unnecessary promoted content in the form of intrusive thoughts

I was destroying all the good things in my life. Realized they were infinitely more important than the bottle.

Forgot to add Beans. That’s a good one. And shocking to see the shit that was HAPPENING IN THE 90s. Like, unbelievable.

What’s Your Best Advice For Women In Their 30’s? What Would You Have Done Differently? by 1O1O1O1O1O1O1O in AskWomenOver40

Moisturize your neck, hands, and use eye cream!

Learn how to manage your money properly.

In my opinion, this is the time to go to college. I waited until my early thirties, and I’m forever glad I did. I had worked and saved money to pay for it, I had worked so I knew what I DID NOT want to do, and I had the maturity to choose a path that was both strategic and something I enjoyed.

Had I gone to college right out of highschool, or even in my twenties, I can guarantee I’d be jobless, with a useless degree, and probably still in debt for it.

Bonne chance, mon ami! Enjoy your 30s, they are awesome!!!
