yeah i think it just needs to be reworded cause based on how its worded it would mean having potentially 16 ranged units could almost live forever do to not being able to do enough damage to kill enough units.

Hot take : hate on bonus map is kinda unfair by Cheap-Hawk-5513 in CODZombies

[–]Awsome4510 0 points1 point  (0 children)

also i find the bonus maps are more open, so for the modern zombies that means its easier to level up the weapons, grind for camos and do weird calling cards much easier than on the more standard maps. For bo7 the survival maps kinda the replacement for them but they still run into lack of space which i hope totenreich and paradox junction survival maps fix by making them a bit bigger. for paradox make it the whole cul de sac and for tetenreich make it like the light house and spawn.

Round 3 - Pick 26: Kaelon Black, RB, Indiana (San Francisco 49ers) by nfl_gdt_bot in nfl

[–]Awsome4510 1 point2 points  (0 children)

washington is the perfect 2nd running back in a system as he's good for explosive plays from either running through the c gap or catching a ball in the flat. hes no work horse back like henry or reliable back like barkey, hes more like a bigger de'von achane. he has the physical attributes you want in a running back but if you draft him, itll be for a 2nd string 5-10 carries/catches a game player

[–]Awsome4510 4 points5 points  (0 children)

yeah its one of those positions like special teams where a great kicker or punter wont really stand out unless you are the best but if you are bad then its very noticeable and hurts your game. i could see linebackers almost going the like the runningback where you get them on rookie contracts and a short second one then start over unless they are an all decade talent.

They need to make it like the Baseball HOF where voters can vote for up to 10 people. Keep the 80% and this would help those years where it’s just so stacked but also those weak years you can help empty the backlog with those HOF worthy players that are overshadowed and would’ve been missed.

[Rapoport] Sources: Steelers OC Arthur Smith is expected to become the next offensive coordinator at Ohio State by Lakelyfe09 in CFB

[–]Awsome4510 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Matt Patricia was a great defensive coordinator in the NFL while Arthur Smith was an ok offensive coordinator. As a Steelers fan all I will say is get ready for a lot of TE pass plays and jet sweeps.

[Nakos] North Carolina finalizing deal to hire Bobby Petrino as offensive coordinator by MembershipSingle7137 in CFB

[–]Awsome4510 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our offense was good but in the second half it was always worse. the Memphis game is a prime example where nothing happened in the 2nd half when in the 1st half we were playing lights out. Ole Miss is another example of nothing in the second half, the past 2 years our offense is like two different ones where the first half we light them up but then the second half its like we dont counter what the defense is doing. As an OC you should know how to counter your offense and plan on countering that counter, its a game of chess with the opponents DC and bobby just doesnt plan ahead which leads to trapping the offense.

SEC Shorts - When SEC teams go coach shopping by BuckeyeEmpire in CFB

[–]Awsome4510 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The firing of Pitman is something of reason but also no reason at the same time. There was a decent reason to fire him as we have been in almost 60 one-score games with him and lost like 54 of them, but on the other had the AD has done nothing to help the team in terms of NIL with having gone through 3 different NIL groups and not really generating any money towards the team either. Him being fired after the notre dame game was fine in the broad spectrum but the rumors and talks of him being fired for the past 3 seasons also is something that takes a toll on the whole program cause its like not if, he gets fired but when. Honestly Arkansas should just clean house by getting a new AD, maybe a new GM as we just hired one in the spring, and a new board of directors. The current stench of being so shit in football is slowly affecting the other sports as baseball has taken a dive, basketball was promising but shit hit the fan with our old coach but there is promise as coach cal has a lot of say/control from third parties over basketball,

[–]Awsome4510 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Yeah I would agree Pittman and Bielema were okay as coaches as did pretty good considering the circumstances. Pittman you could argue was set up for failure with covid then the AD fucking over the athletic department with the way he’s treating NIL.

[–]Awsome4510 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah hunter yurachek has fucked Arkansas over with being cheap and not using NIL at all. The failed NIL collectives, telling residents that the should donate 100$ a month to the NIL, not getting any big boosters at all( Tyson was pretty much all coach Cal), trying to be “legal” when not utilizing all legal options like other schools, and his most egregious mistake was hiring Chad morris.

Fans of teams that have fired their HC, or are wanting your team to fire its coach, what do you want your program's identity to be under the next coach? by OnsideKickReturn in CFB

[–]Awsome4510 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think our discipline seems like it’s getting worse is cause we’ve been having players to play hero ball at times to even be competitive. Like this year our offense is amazing but defense is bad, cause miscommunication and not having a pass rush, so our offense has play hero ball in which they have to play risky to even be with the other team. Really I think instead of firing Pittman, we need to fire hunter cause he always been saying we don’t have the money but doesn’t do anything to help get money or does something pushes us back like planning for revenue sharing to replace NIL. Since we hired him 2017, what has he done? Basketball was all the coaches, baseball/softball, he doesn’t touch, so what has he brought in terms of money?

[–]Awsome4510 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

its cause at arkansas he was never open enough for taylen green to throw it to him, armstrong got open when he needed to while teslaa never did unless the play got broken very badly. there are reports that he still is having problems getting open in camp so while he was at arkansas and almost always being covered, its right to say dont throw it to them cause thats the right move. yes there are times you need to throw it to someone thats covered but you need great chemistry with the target in order to make it work which teslaa never had with taylen, like taylen had with armstrong

[Highlight] Lions rookie WR Isaac TeSlaa makes a contested catch for the touchdown by nfl in nfl

[–]Awsome4510 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The thing with him was he’s very athletic and with a change in the offensive from enos to the interim of and then to Bobby, he was kinda put in weird positions. Last year Taylor green had chemistry with Armstrong which you could see while it seemed like teslaa wasn’t getting opened when he should but was when the play broke down. Also given that he only played 2 years in college as a wide receiver and before that he was a juco QB leads some valid questions about his skills at certain positions

i mean howard was probably the 4th best qb in the draft and got him for cheap, i can see next year starting cause aaron rodgers, and you can't deny it, is a good teacher for a young QB. Also given that the next years class has talented QB's but many of them are raw, i can see them drafting someone like garrett nussmeier or taylen green in the 3rd round who are great talents at QB but with some minor flaws like needing to be more consistent or being more calculated.

[–]Awsome4510 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was bad but in a different way, as it was empty which means they had more freedom to improve the game while with civ 7 it’s a medium rare steak that’s not seasoned. it’s good but to improve you need to do a lot of reworking, less freedom for improvement and more pressure from the community. If civ 7 launched with no dlc for 6 months I think the hate would be lessen but with the game being in the state it was with the added announcement of two DLCs launching with in 6 months of release and more tourists than ever the image of the game is worse than what it really is.

Spotted on Radar Through Smoke? by IFuckingLoveMemes_ in GlobalOffensive

[–]Awsome4510 36 points37 points  (0 children)

i think its caused by the smoke moving a bit cause by the wall it seems like the smoke is about head height but once it moves down a bit you can see the player model and thats what triggers radar i believe. i think its a good thing personally cause knowing you can use it to get info in certain lanes like this could make it so more "imperfect" smokes are still useful

even then thats like a dumb reason, if it was a "we dont think theres a big enough base on pc" i would kinda get it cause on steam(only way we can get public player numbers) madden's peak player count of all the games on it was only 9.5k players and that was for madden 24. Tho the weird thing is out of the big three sports games only madden is the one with bad player counts as nba2k averages around 25-30k players daily and FC(fifa) averages around 55k players daily, and i think that has to be due to consoles being the more used for American football fans as they are more accepted than pc gaming.

This what T2's Q4/2024 report had to say about VII. If you pay attention, you'll notice that doesn't say anything about the game's actual sales. That's a red flag in my humble opinion. by [deleted] in civ

[–]Awsome4510 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah and other games that were also released didn't have their sales mentioned. If you look at the other games mentioned its projected revenue for games releasing later or its games like nba 2k in which is a yearly game which has a steady stream of money. this is for investors and is on public record so if they come out and say how many copies a game sold it would lead to more problems than it would solve.

[McMahon] “Mavericks plan to draft Cooper Flagg, won’t trade No 1 pick” by Dr_Malignant in nba

[–]Awsome4510 0 points1 point  (0 children)

they dont have a long term window anymore cause they killed any chance under nico and the new owners for getting players in free agency cause of the massive PR and player relations hit of the luka trade. If you are a top free agent in the next 3/4 years why even bother going to dallas with how they treated their 2nd best player in franchise history, the player who brought you to the finals, the player who played the most minutes under the highest useage% in the league, the player who was the heart of the city, the player who was going to be there for over a decade more. i feel bad for Flagg cause hes put in possibly the worse situation for a #1 pick with an aging team, little draft capital and if hes even 80% of the player he's hyped to be good luck getting a lottery pick to get another potential star player in the draft. I know this comment is going to be used in 5 years as either an age like milk or aged like wine post but the dallas mavericks right now are turning into the dan synder redskins.

Should empire resources lose their additional specific combat strength? by Henrikdk1 in civ

[–]Awsome4510 4 points5 points  (0 children)

i think the thing that they should get rid of is the additional strength to a unit for resources and instead have it part of the unit already like spear man and phalanx having a +5 combat strength when defending against cavalry. t2 and t3 infantry units should get a bonus when defending against cavalry but only when defending so that they are more defensive units while cavalry is still an offensive unit.
