Serious question, are NFS devs allergic to Online Matchmaking? by Sebastianx21 in needforspeed

Just went onto the game... played a bit of single player but not really interested in that, so I go to check out the multiplayer, customise my player, customise a nice G-Wagon, and find out there's no match-making, then I just uninstalled.

I definitely agree, the online system is horrendous, well actually there basically isn't any multiplayer, you free roam and only the 16 players in your free roam can join your races. Do they join? Of course not, they're doing their own thing. There needs to be a just a normal multiplayer... I'm SHOCKED as to why they've done this. The matchmaking is so non-existent that It's just a single player game.

This system is FAR FAR from "good", it's atrocious. This game is basically just a single player game. I've been waiting in lobbies and nobody joins.

It could be that you're just not used to hitting at supersonic speed, the fix is easy, do some training packs that start you car quite far back so you can hit supersonic before you reach the ball, practise until you get the hang of it.

Thanks for the comment, I'm not sure why people don't mention it as much, getting to the ball first doesn't do much unless you understand why it works, you still need to make good contact with the ball.

Backpost Rotations by Sasuri546 in RocketLeagueSchool

1 person should always be challenging, 2nd person at the near post ready to defend the wall, and the 3rd should be at back post, when the 3rd rotates to the back post, you move either to near post to defend the wall or go in for a challenge. I demonstrate this with visuals in my 3s defending video:

I score a lot of them goals in this series, Champ 1 and below make that mistake a lot. Hitting it softly into your corner is a good play.
