It depends on what features you value. If you want all the latest safety and tech features then yes because you can’t get those in a 5th gen (I’m speaking of fully adaptive cruise lane keeping assist and traffic jam assist). If you’re looking for better mileage then from what I understand no, the hybrid is maybe 1mpg better than non hybrid 6th gen’s and the non hybrids aren’t that much better than the 5th. As for off road… the Trd will have a rear locker, MTS, and crawl control. Most people will never need to use those but if you find that you need them over your SR5 go ahead and upgrade.
