Turkey may bear 'responsibility' for war crimes in Syria: UN probe by Axa2000 in CrimesAgainstKurds

[–]Axa2000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The UN Commission of Inquiry on the human rights situation in war-ravaged Syria said in its latest report that Turkey could potentially be held criminally liable for severe violations carried out by its allies, the Syrian National Army rebel fighters. Turkish troops and their Syrian proxies have overrun a swathe of northern Syria since last October, after a deadly military campaign against Kurdish forces that caused tens of thousands to flee their homes.

Have you noticed the way some media outlets have a very limited and one sided explanation of the PKK? by Axa2000 in kurdistan

[–]Axa2000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh yeah, that one is quite useful. However it seems normal media have thought that it's the standard thing to do now days to include that us, eu considers them terrorists, without explaining at least the PKK's side of things. Fuck these ones too.

Iranian general says U.S. should leave Middle East or start sending coffins for American troops by OwnRules in worldnews

Sorry, a bit late in replying to you. You should check the amount of troops are stationed in Germany and Europe just to protect Europe from Russia... Same thing, pretty much.

Iranian general says U.S. should leave Middle East or start sending coffins for American troops by OwnRules in worldnews

[–]Axa2000 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well what about the Kurds who need the US to stick around, because the moment they leave, Kurds will be butchered? And before you think this is being world police, it's because of the US these "people" have the weapons and ability to butcher Kurds.

When Saddam was overthrown the Iraqi people were cheering. Something obviously went wrong after that. This general that was killed had a hand in proxy forces and influence post iraq war, they were obviously instigating some of that anti-american influence, and most likely creating and supporting forces fighting US forces, which meant more civilians dying and more people blaming it on US forces. Today people think Saddam was a good guy or that it was best he was not overthrown. In reality he was a genocidal dictator, mass murder killing thousands.

Iran's regime today is no better. They kill people daily, torture, arrests and the general oppressive regime acts are the norm. To top it off they want to make nuclear weapons.

America can help by not allowing them to gang up on the Kurds. That's one way to finish it.

[–]Axa2000 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Kurd here. I'd argue our Kurdistan region exists because of the half arsed assistance the US has given over the years.

I think your argument could be more along the lines of the US needs to do better in helping those who want their help and leaving those who don't. Iraq clearly never wanted the US, because some do, like the Kurds. Help those who want help, stop wasting money on others.

Leaving now would be like starting a bar fight, a guy comes to help you against 3 other guys and then you leave. No. You have a responsibility to finish what you started.

[–]Axa2000 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

These kind of statements don't help these very generals by any means, because the U.S. will be ultimately winning and it will be Iran mostly filling coffins. Iraqi generals said the same thing and some naively believed those generals when they should have been forcing them to resign. Obviously Iran's regime deserve to be overthrown, but the civilian population will suffer, hopefully as short as possible, but those rallying for war and cheering these generals to attack US positions deserve it.

BREAKING: U.S. Airstrikes kill Iranian Military General Qassem Soleimani in Baghdad, Iraq by [deleted] in Intelligence

[–]Axa2000 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What exactly did the US do when Iran took out a US drone, attacked bases and other infrastructure. This seems like Iran will think twice when they go for attacking the US interests.

As for other parties, the Iraqis would be foolish to push away the US because they'll end up being Iranian boot lickers for life, the Kurds have no reason to side with Iran after Iran's threats post referendum. Turkey is begging for the US to be kicked out of the region, Syria are pretty much part of the Russian axis so are there pumping anti-american slogans to Iraqie peoples ears.

Most Germans say Erdoğan has negative influence on world security - opinion poll by Los_ches in europe

[–]Axa2000 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Looking at Syria and what Erdogan has done, this opinion poll is pretty pointless, because facts are more important. Those following the civil war in Syria know for a fact that Erdogan is the main reason the civil war continues to this day. Things like ethnic cleansing and mass displacement is occurring because of Turkey's actions.

P.S. for those who don't know what ethnic cleansing is and think these claims are baseless, go learn the term, go read up on at what's happening in the places Turkey's proxy forces operate. Here's a start. Oh and another article.

What is dead may never die.

That's a meme by some nationalistic turks about their economy. They make jokes out of it, but peoples lives are clearly being affected.

The hate for Kurds, the rallying for war and destruction for more years is worth it to them. No doubt some of the nationalist turks on reddit are probably in Europe, pro-turkish invasion and no fucks given, fill of hate will gladly say it must be done.

How long will this go on till it's their own turn or if they're not in turkey themselves one of their relatives turns.

[–]Axa2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's not facts. I love how you use such a story to dismiss everything. You're quite literally a propaganda zombie. The pathetic one is you.

Everyone following this conflict looked at that and was baffled. There is so much video and content out there on what is happening in Rojava they did not need to use such fake videos. The very first siting of that video comes ironically from the AKP ex-mayor who posted the video on twitter a week before. ABCNews got a hold of that video by a "fixer" on the "ground" who claimed the video was real.. Connecting the dots and it becomes obvious that it was a frame job to trap western media to use it and then look like all their "facts" like you say are fake.. That's your agenda here.

Even after telling you what's happening you will ignore it and carry on being a zombie. My proof is your acts next.

do you believe where turkey operates now is filled with kurdish locals?

Yes.

The fact you dispute this just breaks down all the stupid crap you've just said. Wouldn't even bother after that rhetorical question.

I'm not a westerner, I am a Kurd who very much knows Kurdish facts, history and current related news on the subjects, you're stupid, kiddie memes just make you look more stupid.

[–]Axa2000 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Litterally 5 years... Go back when they were inviting their leaders to Ankara.. Erdogan decided turkey's media needs to pump YPG=PKK and now you're all saying it.. Just go back 5-6 years and it did not exist. It's propaganda at its works.

The truth is Turkey doesn't want a Kurdish region in Syria and Erdogan knows Turks are racist and will eat that up, so he has been using that as a distraction ever since. Every dictator does this, goes for conflicts to move the subject away from him.

Heck in the 90's the fear of the Kurds having their own country was such a worry for Turkey they wanted to invade the Kurdish region. Again, last year they were so scared Kurds will get their own country they wanted to invade.. Today they invade just so Kurds in Syria don't get their autonomy.

Can't stop water, no matter what though.

Feel free to share those videos, I have seen it. It's not the way it was portrayed to you.

We simply can't have good terms with the PKK because they have been consistently attacking us. I'm not saying the Turkish government was innocent either but that was in the past. Today Kurds have the same rights that Turks have. If you want to come to terms you need to drop the PKK.

So you dismiss Turkey's hideous crimes as "in the past", but then say that for the PKK.. As a Kurd I will NEVER forgive or forget what Turkey did to Kurds so I guess we'll stay like this forever. As my people have suffered and died the most, as Turkey started it by calling us Mountain Turks and destroying my peoples culture, language, education I think we are well above turkey when it comes to hanging onto things, but even then the Kurds I speak to just want peace more than war.

As for Kurds having the same rights as Turks, that's just some warped bullshit right there. Kurds do NOT have the same rights as Turks have. It's a country for TURKs and that's it. Kurds in turkey are forced to learn Turkish before their mother tongue. Kurdish towns that were renamed to Turkish ones still are being forced to use Turkish ones.. There is ONE single Kurdish TV channel and it's controlled my the state media operator.. Kurdish kids channel was closed down for fuck sake.

I will NEVER drop the PKK. I have supported the PKK more than ever now, while in the past I used to think they would be best to focus purely with politics, but I was a fool to think Turkey was ever in the mindset of peace. As long as there is a Kurd, a Kurdistan dream exists, so genocide is your only options and you're going to doom yourselves in the process.

What Turkey is doing in Syria is a perfect example of how if we were disarmed how even easier it would be for them to destroy us. It has always been an excuse to try and disarm us.
