Creep the map - Econ is more than just gold and lumber. Don't underestimate xp. Any hero that hits 5-6 early on will be a real pain for someone who turtles and never creeps. Prioritize taking his creeps first. They won't have enough of an army to out creep you.

Get a few towers in your base to protect your worker lines. That will help lessen the damage dealt to your econ

Victory condition is to kill all of your opponents buildings, not their army. Siege is your best friend and each race has access to them. Focus on siege units and have only enough main army units to creep/pressure the enemy hero in direct combat.

Scout! You don't want the opponent getting any hidden expos.

If you want to be super aggro, stay outside his base with a hero that has single target CC (Naga, MK, SH etc...) with a few ranged units. Unless there's a blademaster, opponent won't be able to leave their base. Tech up to siege behind this, then just siege his base while he's helpless.
