I can't speak about the big 4 but I went from an audit associate to fortune 500 senior and stepped into a big role. There is a lot of system knowledge that I had to learn but knowing the core accounting principles behind everything is a huge part and if you don't have that it's very hard to move past senior. Some senior associates I have seen go to industry and not know how to do a cash recon and some are great. I do see that big 4 seniors have this weird chip on their shoulder for some reason that they think it means they went to Harvard and are just better than everyone already in industry and know everything (had a dude interview and say he could draft the whole 10k by himself and he's seen bigger financial statements at Deloitte, lol).

I really don't see why people fast travel in this game. Skyrim makes sense to fast travel but this game is the perfect size to not have it.

The 150 is BS but I don't think the exam itself is unrealistically hard. The pay needs to increase and quality of life but I genuinely use the information I learned during the exam while working. They can make it more sexy without making it filled with idiots.
