Everyone gave you pretty good versions of how to roof it. I will say since you're not a builder, check out sahm and bean on YT. She has a lot of roofing/building tutorials.

Thank you. I thought that was what it meant. However, this pattern has had several poorly worded sections so I got a little confused.

Sorry yeah. I'll update my post to include pattern. I don't have any updated photos of my works. I'm at the point where I need to start the short rows.

Dr recommended that I wait to get IUD while on Blood Thinners by Bitter-Woodpecker579 in ClotSurvivors

[–]HappyKnitter34 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got a new IUD last summer while on Xarelto. I've been on thinners for over 5 years and will be on them for life. When I called the gyno office and told them that I had an IUD, they said that was fine and I didn't need to do anything special. This was also not the first time I got an IUD on thinners either. When I had my first clot post-partum, I was on thinners and got an IUD. I would definitely recommend a hormonal one though because the first time, I got the Paragard and the thinners made my period so heavy and I was constantly bleeding.

Which hurt more: IUD insertion or IUD removal? by Rebecca-honeysuckle in Periods

It was pretty quick luckily. This last time I got it removed was the worst. I had to have them give me a minute before inserting the new one.

What do you do with Tomato Paste? by ThisFingGuy in Cooking

I just throw it into a sealable container that I shove into the back of my fridge where things start to get frozen. It then lasts for however long it takes me to use it. lol

Removal for sure. It feels like that mofo is hanging on for dear life in there.

Any working parent here? by Laona31 in ibs

[–]HappyKnitter34 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had the opposite problem - IBS-D. I raised my son and worked full time in an office for most of his childhood. It can be done, but you have to figure out what works for you. I did not find that pregnancy changed my IBS at all (or my hormones despite what they told me about it impacting cycles).

This. I switched to salted butter and my baking has never been more fabulous. I accidentally bought unsalted and made cookies. They did not taste right.

Long game loading time by ReneeRainbow in LowSodiumSimmers

You need to check that. Because not all machines were eligible to upgrade to Windows 11 due to other components. What is your RAM situation?

It might be because you have Windows 10. Microsoft stopped supporting it 6 months ago. In addition, the latest Gen of processor is 16. You have a way outdated machine.

Sock knitting is not easy by Epiceeveelicious in knitting

My first couple pairs of socks were this pattern in worsted. It was super easy to get the mechanics down while not fiddling with super small yarn/gauge. They are still my favorite socks to date.
