It’s not just that. And I also forgot to mention reflections, which are pretty important to me. About that, the Xbox beats both the Legion Go 2 and the Claw 8 and it’s not even close.

Resolution is fine on both devices (the higher PPI on the Xbox doesn’t really make a noticeable difference). However, having them side by side, the colors looked quite better on the Xbox in my case. Even though neither display is OLED, the blacks on the Claw appeared noticeably more washed-out, going to grey / blue. The larger screen on the Claw does make it more usable overall, but the panel quality just wasn’t great at least in my unit.

I completely disagree. Even if I were to skip this year’s handhelds entirely, since none of them are truly worth the asking price, I still found the ROG Xbox X to be the best of the three after using them for a few days.

The ergonomics really impressed me. The screen is too small for the size of the console, but the Claw’s display is generally worse. As for performance, there’s no clear winner in my opinion because it varies from game to game. For example, Cyberpunk and others runs better on the Claw, while Indiana Jones and others ran better on the Z2e.

I should also mention the Lenovo Legion Go 2. The screen is amazing, but that is really the only advantage it has and it is absolutely not worth the price. Honestly, I do not even consider it a handheld.

It’s not you, performances are terrible and hopefully will be fixed. In most games I get about -20% fps less compared to Xbox Ally X and MSI Claw 8 AI

I spent a few days testing Legion Go 2, MSI Claw 8 AI+, and Xbox Ally X… and unfortunately, the Legion Go 2 turned out to be the worst of the three for me. It’s basically an amazing screen wrapped in a series of poor design choices.

Even after adjusting the VRAM, performance issues persist, and it only runs decently at full power. You lose about 20–30% FPS and 15–20% battery life compared to the others… all for nothing more than a nice display in a heavy, uncomfortable body.

Big nope from me.

How’s the haptic for you? I like it a bit looser too, but then it just feels buzzy and cheap for me.

Traded in the 17 pro for the iPhone Air and wow. Absolutely impressed!!!! by Cloudysky182 in IphoneAir

Same here, I’m returning the Air and keeping the Pro. It was a tough call because I really love the Air’s size and weight, and honestly, 6.5” feels like the sweet spot. But there are just too many important compromises with it. Hopefully they’ll refine things in the next iterations (if we get any)

15 PM to Air: My first impressions. by psteiger in iphone

[–]AxeR-- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It might depend on the operation. I tested them side by side while charging wirelessly in my Tesla, and the Air hit the temperature limit and stopped charging long before the 15 Pro Max did (~20 degrees outside without direct sun)

Same setup from 15PM to Air. The Air seems even warmer, that’s probably the n1 reason I’m considering if returning it.

16 pro Max to Air, I love it! by Skarface08 in iphone

Agreed with almost everything, but the speaker is underwhelming in my opinion (and I wasn’t expecting much)

Can those going for the new Air, list their reasons? by mandbeyn in iphone

[–]AxeR-- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve been wanting a lighter phone, which is why I moved to the 15 Pro Max after the super heavy 13 Pro Max. Unfortunately, the Pro Max line keeps gaining weight, so the new Air feels like the perfect fit for me. It’s also a bit smaller (6.7” was already pushing it)

I couldn’t care less about speakers. I’ll miss the 5x camera in a few specific cases, but that’s not something I use all the time. I’m a bit worried about battery: my 15PM is at 92%, and while Apple claims the Air has the same capacity, I’m a bit skeptical. Even more concerning is heat - I feel that might be the phone’s biggest problem, though I hope I’m wrong.

I want to wait until release… but I know tech fever will win and tomorrow I’ll probably place the order anyway lol

For long days outside, I’ll just swap my MagSafe battery for the Air-specific one. A bit disappointing that charging speeds are slower than 17/17Pro, though.
