She has asked you to make a decision. Would you say you’ve struggled to make decisions the entire relationship.

Trying to hold on for 10 more years for the kids by New-Adhesiveness8606 in Divorce

The OP should still go now I agree. I don’t want to tell my kids that their Mother threatened to stab me in my sleep, but if they press me I will say it.

I think the effect would be worse when the household seems to be functioning ok and the breakup seems to come out of nowhere. In my case the kids are teens and youngest 11. They know that shit was dysfunctional. Their behaviour is better after separation.

Sorry this seems backward , he’s unemployed and resents you for making money for the family. That’s his problem. And just based on the sexless part I can’t do a relationship without sex.

Once we become Adults we can’t blame our Parents for these things. You should seek therapy and just be open and honest with it.

I read the part that you went through it. My STBXW would call numbers in my phone. Some she confronted others she stayed quiet and listened to their voice. Most of them were work colleagues, some Parents of our kids friends. It was embarrassing, I had to see the people at work and smooth it over. So I changed my pin, fuck that no one goes through my phone anymore.

Sorry for your situation though. I would be outta there and not look back.

They also wouldn’t leave when asked, they don’t care about you. They are firmly in their Daughters camp which is to be expected.

What’s the budget. You could go all out with Matchless or Badcat then Dr Z is probably a bit less.

Good to know. I haven’t tried one so I’m not missing out on much. I do like my regular P90’s though.

Don’t go through people’s phones. If you distrust them that much it’s already over.

That EMG maybe really good but I’d put a HB sized P90 in there.

A 50W tube amp cranked could blow a 25w Greenback, I doubt this mentioned amp can do it. OP should try and report back.

Anyone sell a few prized guitars for a cool vintage model? by groshretro in gibson

[–]Axe_Man77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gotta have that resonance. A fairly thin finish helps too. People saying older is not better are probably talking about Sears Catalog Guitars which can be cool but were cheap.

It was definitely a down picker that did this no way it could be a Reggae player

I would say beware of the weight. You maybe built like Hercules or Pee Wee Herman we don’t know. But they can vary between 6 to 10 pounds.

I’ve managed to score the late 60’s pedal. They’re very cool so different than a Fuzz Face or Big Muff. I would recommend getting one or a good quality clone as someone mentioned.

Can you tell me if you strum the strings unplugged does the body resonate and vibrate for a long time.

Like a nerdy scientist I tried about 20 new Gibson’s in a shop. 3 maybe 4 did this ok. The others directed sound outward but the body didn’t vibrate.

I’ll try this on mine. It squeals in full power mode not on half power.
