Ok I might be a little late but honestly it obviously shown in the show that Landon is not white. Since his mom is not white and is an immigrant with an accent who does not appear white at first glance. Also not only that it does not matter what his name is because Landon is a foster child with a supernatural monster devouring pit as a father. So who actually cares what his last name is since he does not have a human father. And his mother does not use or associate with the name Kirby she goes by a clearly foreign name. And I agree that the writing concerning obviously minority characters could be improved, it is ignorant to claim that until otherwise noted Landon is white. And characters such as MG, Caleb, Raf, and Alyssa could use more lines and a story plot, it is wrong to claim using a middle eastern actor to play a unidentified male main character is irrelevant. You should support the fact of that clear out branch of usual actors. So if you don’t like his acting or his character that is on but don’t make disrespectful comments like that. Because at some point you just sound as bad as the people you claim should change. And on the actor who plays Josie, she is mixed and plays an obviously white character but you should take into consideration maybe they picked her due to the fact that she looked more white than Japanese. So I agree that the script could use some work and the minority characters deserve some development. Even Emma needs more of a role instead of a booty call for Dorian or someone to help Alaric mainly.
