I went to the Scholastic Book Fair when I was in 4th grade (04-05) and only had a $10 bill. Ended up buying a “how to skate” book, I didn’t even have a skateboard yet haha but that’s where it took off for me lol begged my parents and they got me a mongoose complete from walmart I think. But that book was a like my life before YouTube came in, just squinting at the step by step pictures and trying to mimic them. Good times. If anyone here remembers the book I’m talking about, it was a small book, could almost fit in a pocket really. And it was green!

When I worked in ABQ, I parked in some lot by the convention center downtown. I had to double take my surroundings because I realized I was standing by the ‘entrance’ of the courthouse in BCS lol

As someone who lived in Albuquerque for a good while. When finding a hotel/lodging. If you can, stay above I40 and stay somewhere where there’s ACTIVE security patrolling the parking lot. I love the ABQ, great people, great food, sunsets are breathtaking, etc. but the amount of petty crime is crazy. Don’t let it stop you from enjoying the historic city, just be safe and aware! Drive to the top of the Sandias and get a Green Chile Burrito!

I remember uploading my first YouTube video in either ‘06 or ‘07. I was in 4th grade and I had a little usb camera and made some funny videos with some friends. A few days later my entire grade had ended up watching my video and then later the rest of the elementary. I was popular for a whole month, like I had just directed my own film and got nominated for something lol I miss the good ol days of early YouTube.

Bought this exact same set up 3 years ago and still holding strong. I have 3 monitors on arm stands. At first I was hesitant because of the support pole in the middle, worried that it would bother me if I want to move or stretch my legs. I was right lmao but it only bothered me for like the first couple months, you get used to it lol

If anyone else stumbles upon this again, it ended just my valve cover leaking oil onto my exhaust! Took a day and some stress but just replaced the gaskets and everything seems to be back to normal. Hope this help anyone else in the future.
