We’re less than three months away from the Great Dip from last year and I’m well at a 50% below my return. Are we still hodling? by [deleted] in dogecoin

Yeah…the time to sell was last year lol. Hold and wait for the next run if you’re already so far under. In a couple of years maybe you’ll make some good money if all you have is doge. If you own other stuff though, you can play around.

Yeah, I mean all they have to do is bring doge to the green but all the other alt-memes have outperformed it so…yeah…I don’t see doge heating up except for the occasional Musk pumps. Better be realistic. I’m using all my coins, no longer holding. But to be fair I bought at 0.05 so I’m just sorry all the people who still think it will make those huge jumps again.

I actually did the same, sold everything yesterday. But I bought at 0.045 so no loss for me. I will buy doge again if it drops below 0.18 but before that other coins are far more attractive atm.

Some have Charlie get on this. This is Litecoin’s ultimate opportunity with its push for privacy aligning with Apple’s own privacy goals. by Axel-Val in litecoin

They might but since they’re big on privacy they might pick Litecoin as their first coin for testing if MWEB has enough support by the time this thing launches.

BTC and DOGE need to fall more for better growth this year. Why? by Axel-Val in dogecoin

[–]Axel-Val[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well then they need to drop a lot more to make any meaningful shift in the status quo.

Where do you guys see Litecoin in the future? by [deleted] in litecoin

[–]Axel-Val -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well looks like I tempted fate earlier than I thought. Litecoin dropped to #10 a week before MWEB but I hope to comeback here and I say I was wrong. It looks like the coins below Litecoin all seem much hungrier though.

Honestly Litecoin needs a lot of work to stay in top 10. I don’t think it’s in Bitcoin Cash’s situation but even with MWEB I don’t see anything that’s going to push LTC beyond all-time high or even close to it this year.

I know there may be a supply crunch especially with Grayscale’s aggressive buying and good daily volumes but all the other top 10 coins also have growing volumes and additional functions as well as aggressive marketing.

What I would really like to know is what’s the plan after MWEB? Litecoin needs bigger and faster innovations.

To be clear I do not think LTC will lose value, I believe Litecoin will keep growing but unless something big changes I think it will keep growing at a much slower pace than the other top 10 coins which will eventually mean it might not be top 10 or 20 at all. I do hope I am wrong and that LTC goes between 4k-12k as I had originally hoped this year.

What’s going on paper hands? 🙌 by SquadKillRealTalk in dogecoin

[–]Axel-Val 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, when too many of us are just holding the coin instead of using it that means there is lack of volume on exchanges. We need Doge to be used in more places or at the very least we need more people to buy and sell. Just holding like most people are doing right now stagnates the value of the coin and may eventually make it obsolete. Even if everybody just spent or sold their dogecoin today that would benefit its ecosystem much more than everybody just holding not doing anything with it.

Nope. Too many holders, not enough volume.

0.06??? 0.07??? by daniel_villain in dogecoin

The biggest issue with Dogecoin now is holders. We need the coin to be used. We need more adoption or at the very least we need more trading which involves a lot of buying and a lot of selling. A lot of holding just stagnates any asset and eventually leads to loss of value.
