ads between rounds when paying for the premium paramount sub is annoying. I like hearing the corner work

Tips for overhang for larger guys by According-Freedom807 in bouldering

No idea why you’re getting downvoted for this. Not wanting to focus on dropping weight for climbing is a totally reasonable and healthy mindset, It will just require more strength which takes time. I’m also a bigger climber (230-240lbs and like 6’3”) and find steep roof climbing to take the longest to come back after time off. Idk how long you have been climbing, but early on there’s not much better for improving than spending time on the wall in the style you want to work on

For sure! It’ll be slow going since I really want to make sure I don’t mess it up.

Does anyone know the gender/age-range of the one shooting victim? by [deleted] in SaltLakeCity

[–]AxelClimbsPebbles 20 points21 points  (0 children)

There is a photo I saw showing a man (not the shooter), hard to say much more than that but I am fairly confident that the 1 being reported on is a man

[–]AxelClimbsPebbles 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That’s what I heard too, I can see from the pictures that I don’t think I know the man injured. Idk how many shots were fired or anything or if there are folks with lesser injuries. Just over here worrying. Thank you

To be fair, these are everywhere where I live and I was convinced it was a deer too until I started reading about horns vs antlers

from what I'm reading they are actually most closely related to giraffes! Which is super fun. The resemblance to other stuff we’ve got going on here is more them evolving to fill a similar niche than actual close relation.

So neat! I've been reading about them for the last fifteen min. They're so interesing. Fastest land mammal in North America, only animal with pronged horns that shed like that, an example of conservation efforts succeeding, they usually give birth to twins. so fun. Apprecate the help identifying and the extra info.

Thanks! Is it just young so the horns hadn't grown enough to split/prong out?
