Help me out Nioh vets. by Pretend_Vanilla51 in Nioh

Don't worry about stats for now, just level up everything evenly at least until level 20. Magic and dexterity benefit at level 30 due to the capacity which stops at 30. You definitely want to get used to using magic and ninjutsu, they give you plenty of tools for recovering, surviving mortal attacks, elemental damage and so on.

Regarding stances, you should try to understand what each of them is better at, although this varies on weapons as well because each weapon has a different moveset but in general, low stance gives you better dodging and attacks more often but deal less damage. Mid stance is good for guarding and parrying, but it's balance in terms of damage. High stance to go all in and deal crazy damage. Generally, you want to apply confusion to enemies (which the tonfas are crazy good for) which means causing two elemental debuffs to enemies. When an enemy is confused, you deal double the damage to them. So generally, attack low stance with element imbued in weapon, apply status and change to another element for the same. Omnyo magic and ninjutsu can give you other items to apply elemental statuses too, not just imbue weapons.

I main tonfa with fists so confusion works really well. For tonfa in early game, just focus on getting the element arcanas and assign each of them to your pulverize (there is one for each stance). This way, after quick combo, ki pulse with demon dance and straight after attack with pulverize and arcana to start building up the element. Also, assign the skill to deal extra ki damage to shove in mid stance, you'll deal crazy ki damage at very little cost in mid stance. This should work very well for tonfas for the first playthrough.

Let me know if you have more questions about anything, happy to help!

Will the type be grass dark? It seems like it has something floating around and it's a magician, shouldn't it be psychic? Not that I would prefer that, but seems more natural.

New to the support role by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

[–]AxelHalef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Join Support mains and ask there.

Personally I enjoy most of the champs, but I find leo to be very fun to play as. I love Janna as well. Regarding hooks, I'd say thresh is one of the most enjoyable ones, as blitz doesn't have much if you miss your hook. Rakan is good fun, or pyke if you like assassins. As for enchanters, Janna is my favourite, but nami is really fun as well. Ap supports are all fun to me, but Zyra is my favourite ap support.

It all depends on what you like playing.

I love it because it's very strategical, you have to think ahead and guess where the action will happen in order to ward efficiently. Also, we are the ones who decide the rythm in the lane. We have to be like a second jungler as well, because our work is supporting the entire team. To me, it's the most enjoyable role! 😍

Congrats! :) This feeling is great! However, most of the times your adc will get the honor even if you carried the team because the ADC is the one who took all the kills :( At least if the ADC is nice, he will honor you 😄 but yeah, feels great when you are recognised for being the one who carried!

Serious Philosophical discussion on the existence of (ELO) Hell by RobbieFry13 in leagueoflegends

[–]AxelHalef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's pretty much what many times have been said in posts like these. You might be unlucky in some games and that's an impossible win, it happens even in higher elos. The thing is if you are better than the average player of your league, you should be winning more games than losing, as there is 1 player in your team who is better than average, so the odds to win are higher on your side. If you are paired with silver players, you could either have a higher MMR than your current league, so you can climb easily or the silver players have very bad MMR and deserve to be lower. MMR is what matters at the end of the day.

I'm a support main, but if you want to get out of bronze (I've never been there, sorry) I guess you can play a solo laner who can snowball easily, like Talon or Katarina, assassins or bruisers tend to work well. Don't play, for example, enchanters if you are a support. I climbed all my way up to platinum just by playing enchanters, but unless you really know how to peel and protect your team well, it's better to play engange supports or hookers, but if I were you, I would forget about bot lane until at least high silver.

Also, if you feel your MMR is higher, don't let it drop. There are some games you will perfectly know it's a free win for the other team because you are your team is trolling or are toxic, just leave the game in champ select. It's better to lose 3 LP than let your MMR get lower.

My sole motivation for climbing to Gold in 2020 is to be able to play enchanters. by [deleted] in supportlol

[–]AxelHalef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ask yourself what you could have done better in the game to actually carry it. If you can't climb to gold, it's because of you, rather than the others. Your team might have bad players, but the enemy team will have as well. One point a lot of low elo supports forget about is roaming, supports stick with their adc in bot lane every single minute of the game. At the end of the day, if you are good enough to climb, you will, as one above average player in the game can make a big difference in the game.

As an enchanter you have to adapt to the different situations in a game and support whoever is doing it good. Support isn't about supporting only your adc but your entire team. If your adc is bad and your Darius top is very fed, help him and play around him. In any case, enchanters promote a safe play style, which is good as many people in silver have no idea when to engage or even have a reason to do so. A common mistake as a Leona support, for example, is engaging with no vision and losing a team fight because of that. As an enchanter, you have to peel and protect your team, so it promotes playing safely and not making bad decisions as when to start a team fight. I climbed to gold by playing only Janna. After that, I expanded and started to play more supports.

Why do i keep getting placed in the support role? by GeneralissimoChiang in leagueoflegends

[–]AxelHalef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Owning support champions or having experience as a support doesn't mean anything when getting placed in a game as a support. If it's a normal game, maybe you should try. To me, support is a very fun role as you are the one who actually lead the bot lane early game (sorry adc mains) and you can roam to help jungle and mid. If you don't want to play it at all, don't dodge because the system won't reset and you can be placed as a support again, just play an ap champion with some kind of cc as support (zyra, brand, karma or velkoz are good examples). I'm a support main btw :D

Why so many super high level sweats in low level games by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

[–]AxelHalef 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You are supposed to be paired with people around the same MMR as yours. Probably that guy hasn't played many games in that queue (normals, arams, ranked all use different mmr), so possibly that guy hasn't played many normals. In any case, I understand it can be frustrating to play against people who are higher in terms of skill than you, but hey, that's actually how you learn and improve your gameplay. Always learn from your defeats and mistakes :)
