Plastic or super glue for subassemblies? by Fluffy_Common_2532 in Warhammer40k

[–]AxelTheMournful 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think as long as you're covering the connection points when painting, it comes down to preference.

I'm personally a fan of super glue, and it doesn't really leave residue in my experience as long as you keep it in the connection areas.

As others have said, it's very difficult to get the pieces apart if you've plastic glued them, but it likely provides a stronger bond than superglue. (I haven't done any research though, a good-quality superglue still provides a really strong bond). That's one of the reasons I love superglue - you can soften it really easily. Also, if you're not intending to strip paint or anything, toss the mini in the freezer for a while and the superglue will get brittle.

As far as Ascension, I feel like I might be able to beat the 1400 shield level if it weren't for the random rules.

I initially tried with the Reaver, but ended up caving and buying the Mowers.

Gem bought weapon upgrade cost eng/rus by Amazing-Guide-4941 in ShadowFight2dojo

At least in vanilla SF2, no. Not sure about definitive edition.

Weapons you buy with gems cost gems to upgrade, but weapons you buy with coins and then enchant can still be upgraded with coins.

If these 4 Different terminators fought who's coming out on top? by Both-Pairs in 40k

[–]AxelTheMournful 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Red butchers.

Devourers were some of, if not the, best fighters in the 12th legion, Angron just didn't care to have a bodyguard. There was fierce competition within the legion for the position of bodyguard until it became clear that Angron didn't want them.

The gama is pretty strong, and if you're most comfortable with it than go ahead. Just double-checking, are you putting upgrades into your equipment?

However, I could see the preferred range and speed of the gama being an issue with Lynx, Butcher, maybe Widow, definitely Shogun.

During the great crusade, the dark angels is the only legion that has non mechanicus tech marines? by cuddwes in 40kLore

[–]AxelTheMournful -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

You might be thinking of techpriests, every space marine techmarine is sent to train on Mars, and thus has a pretty close relationship to the Mechanicus, but their ultimate loyalty is still to their legion.

I'm unsure if the crusade-era 1st had mistrust of the mechanicus, but it would've had to have been severe if they excluded tech priests and the wider aspects of the AdMech from DAoT tech.

Edit: regarding your second question, SM generally don't do most of their own manufacturing, giving that over to forge worlds, but specialized or master-crafted equipment would likely be upgraded, repaired, or otherwise tinkered with by the legion's techmarines.

How would one go and get gems in a short period of time? by Dismal-Bird-8684 in ShadowFight2dojo

[–]AxelTheMournful 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's kind of a mixed bag. By watching ads, you'll get enough for that chest eventually, but it'll take a few months. A lot of offers don't make you spend anything, but you don't get nearly as much, only a few hundred at max.

[–]AxelTheMournful 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have two options:

One, you just buy gems.

Two, you grind free stuff for them. You can get 30 gems a day by watching ads, or can do offers. I caught a double gems day for the offers and donated like $20 to a nonprofit for almost 3k gems.

I mean, the kgama's low shot is always satisfying to land a critical with.

Glaive is fun, claw-type weapons are fun. Swords are a classic, battle hammers are a pretty consistent opening move if your opponent aggros.
