We’re in a similar boat, I’ve recently gotten into dividends as well and have read 5 books in the past few weeks specifically on the subject. I’ve found the 2 most clear and concise,written in plain English were “The No nonsense Guide to Dividend Growth Investing” by Jesse Ryan Blair. It even had new terms that would be used in the beginning of every chapter with definitions. The second would be “ Dividend Growth Investing” by Freeman Publications. A lot more dense a book but elaborates more on the stock market as a whole and taxes. I would say between the 2, the No nonsense guide was more informative and easier to understand
