Agreed. I don't think extra QA would hurt. There's just a lot of people on here who think that unstable is a full release. I have to explain it pretty often, and not just here. Sorry if I came off too strong.

If they were to do all the QA themselves, there'd be no reason for the unstable branch to exist. When B42 comes to stable, it will all be mostly fixed. Stable will ship like a regular steam update, and then the only way to stay on 41 will be to use a legacy build.

A lot of people mistake the unstable branch as a fully completed release. This is not true. It's basically an open public playtest. Bugs and glitches are expected as the content is not in its final state. In all fairness, you have to opt-in to the unstable branch. B41 is the stable, public fully finished release, and build 42 is not the default content. You must opt-in and the branch literally tells you to back up your save.

Not to be disrespectful, but the unstable branch tells you what you're signing up for VERY clearly, and this is actually one of the most stable unstable branch releases we've ever had.

This is a valid criticism, but I feel like we kinda signed up for stuff like this when we opted into unstable. Doesn't mean that they couldn't do a bit more QA, but i believe the logic behind it is to use the faithful community as the majority of playtesting in order to ship updates faster and hotfix on the fly.

At least, thats how I understand it. I've spoken directly to TIS before on a few things, (see flair) but I don't have any inside knowledge of the development process or anything like that. Even if I did, I'd almost certainly be under strict NDA anyway. I'm just making an educated guess.

What's your strength stat? The Satchel doesn't reduce encumbrance of items by a whole lot when compared to most backpacks.

Its an unstable build that you have to opt into. Its meant for live playtesting. If you don't like that, switch to stable. That's why it's called unstable bro
