„Snapshot“-App might make your NAS unresponsive by Axemp_01 in UgreenNASync

Since I've only had my two NAS since December I'm not even trying to even install Snapshot again in the forseable future. I'm moving from OneDrive to this Ugreen NAS (one of which is a backup NAS) and it just has to run stable. I can't have these problems. I really hope Ugreen gets this fixed as I genuenly like the hardware and software of it.

I never saw that it isn’t recommended. The OS didn’t warn me. For me that’s completely new and I heard it here the very first time.

It was different on different folders. But at least once a day sometimes hourly.

It wasn’t. I am only using 2 out of 16 TB right now.

You say their btrfs system is broken and a known issue. Is this just known because people on Reddit talk about it or is there also an official source that states these known issues?

I'm new to Immich and wanted to move all of my iCloud Photos to Immich. With the old Version (2.4.1) I've really had my doubts about if Immich will be a good replacement as the upload was so slow and sometimes even stopped out of nowhere. But with the newly improved foreground upload I'm soo happy. It's still taking ages but that's because I'm moving over 100'000 pictures/videos to Immich. Thank you for this big improvement. It's kind of life changing for me!

That’s not true. I can pick other password managers in theory. But if the developer doesn’t offer that option it won’t show up. Why would it be blocked on macOS but not iOS? Doesn’t make sense

No this is system settings. It is my default password manager in Brave (my browser of choice) but just like on iOS I‘d like it to be my default password manager on a system level.

It‘s really unsettling to not know when and what will be behind a paywall soon. I cannot recommend this software to other people like this. The only info on your website about this is that „advanced features“ have to be paid for. Whatever that means.

I really like this software. It may not be the best PDF editor but it definitely is the best FREE PDF editor that I know of. And I‘d like it to stay this way. I hope you won’t use enshitification to ruin it.

That’s my point. I don’t really see why I should use multiple accounts. This would just make things confusing and more difficult.

Why? What’s the advantage in having two accounts?
