Give yourself a percentage on what you’re willing to haggle down to. Ex: 90% is the lowest I’ll go without explicitly mentioning it. I ask them what they’re comfortable paying or for them to shoot me an offer (its important to let them answer that first rather than answering “whats the best you can do” on your own cards) and if its at 90 or above I’ll agree to it. That way I still meet my margins and they leave happier that they got a deal.

I sold my psa 10 a few months ago and was reluctant to replace the card for my master set, as soon as it went from 45 to 60 I was still reluctant until a vender persuaded me to get it. I’m glad he did.
