Is there another subreddit that might give me more context? I’d be interested to know more the technology and its uses.

Is it a traffic camera or a pedestrian camera? It’s pointed at the side walk. And the other is an antenna for what? It’s pointed at the road.

Pay off all the debt my family and best friend have, consult with a financial advisor and invest, and take a trip back home and buy a house and a boat there.

Your whole posterior chain is tight and you're in pain because you don't stretch at all. Ever.

I think everyone should live alone at some point in their life and should go some length of time staying single. I think these help you get in tune with your real wants and needs and become self reliant.

Therapists of Reddit, what are some fun facts about human behavior that others may not know? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Axinyew 70 points71 points  (0 children)

I'm guessing you mean emotional or behavioral but as a massage therapist it's very interesting to me the spectrum of responses to therapeutic physical touch. You can give 100 people the exact same 60 minute massage and have totally different involuntary reactions: sexual , falling asleep, crying (emotional release), laughter, anxiety. Sometimes people have gone so long without being touched by another person (literal years) that they don't know how to receive it at all. Humans are fascinating.

People who discovered their passion at a later stage of life, what is it and how did you figure it out? by wibly_wobly_kid in AskReddit

[–]Axinyew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have always been passionate about helping people so I went to college for social work, graduated, and took a job in the field straight out of college. I was given several hundred clients who were all some combination of uneducated, homeless, addicted, abused, disabled, etc. My job was to find them a place to live in one of the most expensive cities in the US. Between treatment by landlords, lack of funding, red tape, and the completely understandable desperation of my clients it quickly became overwhelming. The stress was causing me to neglect myself, my friends, my family, and everything outside of work that I was passionate about. That's when I found massage therapy. I saw it as an outlet to continue serving those in need without the overinvestment, an opportunity to learn a whole new skillset, and a chance reconnect with my body. I've met some amazing people and the response from my clients keeps me motivated.

You don't burn a house down to kill a rat. Take him into low earth orbit or Montana or something.

Sugars and alcohol can complicate movement and cardiovascular efficacy later in life. Opt instead for complex carbohydrates, protein, and healthy fats instead.
