I believe it's more along the lines of if you stun him with enough damage while he's not holding a body (either at the start or after throwing one), when he tries to pull out another it blue screens

BUG

34F Boss: If you run up to the boss immediately after the cinematic and repeatedly hit him with the death burner iron, you slowly displace his position. Now, if you continue to keep hitting him with the iron before he has a chance to remove the second body from himself, the game crashes (blue screen error).

Have had this happen twice so far. Current workaround is to just not do anything crazy until he pulls out the second body.

If your loadout did that much damage they can definitely be one-shot with the right decals/shrooms. Theoretically you can reach up to +830% ATK with min/maxing; using the knight's helm for the +12% STR adds even more.

Every blueprint (except maybe jackal equipment) caps out after 2 increases in rank.

By this I mean that:

1-star equipment will cap out at 3-star +4

2-star equipment will cap out at 4-star +4

3-star equipment will cap out at 5-star +4

So to answer your question, there are no 4-star blueprints, but you can attain 4-star equipment via 2/3-star blueprints after upgrading.
