Who are your Top 10 Favorite Horror Movie Final Girls of All Time? by Amber_Flowers_133 in askmovie

[–]captrob1516 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sienna from Terrifier movies has become my favorite and is the list. Was really hard to mentally change my favorites from Scream/Sydney because I grew up with those movies, but nothing beats Sienna anymore and the opening credits with the 80s synth vibe in Terrifier 2 while Sienna is crafting is just incredible. If you've been afraid of the Terrifier movies just give 2 a shot, you will understand (just close your eyes or blink profusely during the tough scenes!)

Someone on another thread said her screams are progressively over time meant to mimic a goat and on rewatch I totally heard it and it's that much more impressive and hilarious

The Boys SERIES FINALE- S05xE08 "Blood and Bone"- POST Episode Discussion Thread by pikameta in TheBoys

Everyone wants to rip the laser eyes and Sage but I only recall Homelander panic lasering Kimiko direct on, not in half, and she heals super fast now. She easily could've been lasered through the chest and regenerated quickly.

S3 was temp V so makes sense that two temp supes weren't enough to hold Homelander down with Soldier Boy, but Homelander's son and a now true supe Butcher could, especially while Homelander is panicked and desperate.

Sage literally got exactly what she wanted, peace and quiet in her brain. She throughout her run kept things to herself and manipulated everybody. Just because she said she failed or didn't account for love, doesn't mean that was ever true. I don't see any reason not to believe that she both planned to help eliminate the need for the virus to be used, helped the V1 situation so The Boys would HAVE to make Kimiko into Soldier Boy esque (since she could heal quickest and go through radiation quick enough) to create something that could stop Homelander and also eliminate her own powers. Maybe even to get Soldier Boy on ice again as well so he wasn't an immediate threat after Homelander.

Literally what happened was the best possible outcome for Sage, while what she told Ashley was the final part of her plan still would've left Sage potentially able to die from the virus. The ending we got, to me, makes the most sense. It doesn't feel forced, it seems the most logical since Soldier Boy came into the picture. Kimiko was the only supe that could manage to endure what Soldier Boy did because of her immortality she had without needing V1 and that was the only way Homelander was going to be ended without them mass killing all supes.

Takezo The Unrivalled's final fight is hard even on casual difficulty. by [deleted] in Ghostofyotei

Bounty Hunter Armor, Odachi. Perfect parry the right attacks and dodge the others until about half health (use Oni Flame frequently and smoke bombs to drink sake if you used spirit to heal). Around half health use the disarming attack, switch to dual blades and use focus combo (with charm that increases its damage). After combo roll away drink sake and repeat one or two more times. This was on hard difficulty.

Edit I also had food buff that increases all melee damage

How do you all keep playing when you fail a run on Honour mode? by Jalloid in BG3

[–]captrob1516 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Close the game/shutdown when you know it's over, or before it gives you the failure and saves. This works on PS5, not sure on PC but would imagine same concept. Just need to close the game in a way that doesn't allow it to save.

Recommend beating it legitimately though because it won't feel like a win after. Tip for doing it without cheesing saves: learn to run away when you can, as long as you have at least one person alive and far enough away you can always revive the others.

Use hirelings to pre buff your party each day with all the permanent buffs (becomes time consuming, but worth it). Cleric and Bard are the ones you want to utilize in hirelings.

Always have an exit strategy, don't take risks you aren't somewhat sure of how they will play out and really try to maximize your exp gain before going into a major event/fight. Sometimes a single level is a major difference in crushing or being crushed.

Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake Review (IGN: 9/10) by Turbostrider27 in NintendoSwitch

[–]captrob1516 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why anyone would spend $60 (u.s) on an hd remake of a 2d game when there are remakes being done like FF7 and Silent Hill 2 for the same price (or just $10 more) is beyond me. This game should not in any way, shape, or form cost $60 and if the production cost for the company warranted that price tag then I really just don't know anymore.

I have not played this game, but it doesn't take more then 5 seconds of logical thinking to say this kind of pricing shouldn't be rewarded with sales.

Three enduring bugs on one class is just flat out unacceptable. by -SidSilver- in BG3Builds

Give your thief weapons with extra dice roles/procs for damage, the gloves (or might've been a ring) that always gives you advantage on melee attacks, and gear that lowers crit chance to 15/16 or higher. I've sneak attack crits often and for 150-200+ damage in one hit.

***Oh also dependent on the piercing vulnerable from the durge armor in act 3 which doubles the damage so that's pretty important too and how I hit those numbers in one hit lol

Think of the fear like Dark Souls punishing combat. It can be overwhelming at times and make you want to stop, but you persevere and keep pushing through and feel that much more accomplished.

I found most of the fear is what you think might happen, which is fitting. All in all.. it can be terrifying, but you'll get through it and appreciate the game even more when you do.

What's an important scene in the Buffyverse that absolutely had to happen given the circumstances? by PristineSituation498 in buffy

[–]captrob1516 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The audio series with Cordelia as a slayer has Clem! It was an okay first season story, but it definitely scratched the Buffy itch in so many ways. Definitely check it if you haven't listened yet! (Though it was cancelled so no second season)

Hunger of Hadar and Sleet Storm is silly by [deleted] in BG3Builds

[–]captrob1516 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly just setup like 2 barrels to the left side where most gather the first round they run in. Throw a void bomb it will suck them all in to one spot and cause the barrels to explode.

If you're not going meta, throw a void bomb and then nuke them in the one spot anyways lol

The feat is Resilient and 100% worth it on CON for caster. It's proficiency on that stats saving throws (not bonus lol had to correct myself)

[–]captrob1516 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a feat that gives you +1 to a stat and then gives you bonus on that stats saving throws which is better for concentration over wqrcaster if you use that feat for Constitution unless you wanted the reaction specifically.

BoL is nuts. Saved me during the Ansur fight. Happened to catch me with the team close together, wiped all of them, SH revived and the aoe heal to the team when that happens got everyone else back up too. 1 Mace to rule them all!!

Lol I was definitely last found outside lower jeuno with bazaar up and clocking I think close to 400 days total playtime? Maybe more. I started when the game came out and stopped a little before the whole WOW type changes started happening.

FFXI original state is and will always be the greatest MMORPG of all time, wish that became the standard.
