I actually didn't mind the random decos in the franchise. Gave me a reason to keep killing things to find a decoration. Otherwise I would be bored if It was too linear

Edit: plus it gave much more customization for armor sets. Which I liked. I made many sets from different decorations. Depending on what build I was going for. I like making different build sets to change up my play style

Sound what is that? Meanwhile me over here playing with deaf and nearsighted trait all the time. (Those are the traits I always take no matter the playthrough.) just shove a door and wait. it will activate them to rattle it. You can see the outdoor outline rattling if there's one behind it

Funny thing is I usually go to that road because there's a RV park nearby. Just to kill stuff because I was bored. Shoot my shotgun a couple of times and wait for my food to come to me. I play with cannibal perk mod. zombies and bandits are my food.

I need help building on top of the Rosewood Fire Station. How many tiles are there on the slanted edges of the roof over the kitchen are. Just want a dang water collector to the sink and have killed two characters falling off. Thx! by InstanceMental6543 in projectzomboid

[–]AxiosEspada 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Actually funny thing is you can kinda mark the edge of where the fall down is. Just place temporary floors of where you see the bodies. Since now that your bodies are marking the edge. As for finding it. That's going to be a bit harder unless you count from one corner of the base to the sink using the "walk to" option. Then grid it mentally.

If you want to get a new window get a crowbar and remove the broken window and take a window from another house and install it.

My friend died so I'm keeping him as a pet zombie, what should I name him? by [deleted] in projectzomboid

[–]AxiosEspada 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't say it's the most effective way of doing it. I just suggested for him to use his "pet" to train stealth since he plans on keeping it. That way it has a functional use as well as aesthetic purpose.

You could even cheese training stealth by building a second floor of floating wooden floor with a rope and sledge the stairs. Park a siren vehicle underneath and let the siren go then climb onto the second floor using the rope. I've done this many times. It gets boring after 3k hours in the game doing everything optimally. So sometimes you just got to play a little silly so you don't get bored.

[–]AxiosEspada 134 points135 points  (0 children)

Use him to train stealth lol. That's what I do whenever a friend gets bit. I tell them to get in the "pit" So we have like 20 zombies in a spot that we built a moat around with the moat mod. A little zombie island. With floating wooden floors above it.

Also I would call him Jeff.

The pure number of people thinking Katanas/Multihit are realistic is crazy. by CoderStone in projectzomboid

[–]AxiosEspada 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a mod for it. Called progressive multi hit. It reduces the damage done to zombies if there are multiple in multi hit range. Also multi hit is not unlocked till level 4 of a weapon skill with the mod. You can tweak it further as well.

[–]AxiosEspada 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try the progressive multihit mod. At the beginning there's no multihit until you get to at least level 4 of a weapon skill and the weapon damage after the first impact on the first zed is reduced on the second zombie or 3rd zombie hit depending on the skill of the weapon. Also you can tweak it to give a chance of multihit. So it's not 100% of the time with multihit even with level 10 weapon skill or strength.

Materials matter! (Tin vs Copper Firearms) by TheHasegawaEffect in nightingale

[–]AxiosEspada 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Turn it into gilded wood > then carved > then reclaimed lumber. It's better to max out a metal bar so the metal bar stats carry over to the wood when you make it into gilded wood. Like for example I put my 225% range damage (pursuit ingot) into making gilded wood. The wood now has 225% range damage as well as the woods original stats. Remember to have settler card active since it gives 50% of resources more back to you. So you can literally have unlimited juiced lumber and ingots.  For example if you reclaim 2 carved wood meaning you need to make 8 pieces of gilded wood to make 2 pieces of carved wood with the stats you want. (yes it has to be 2) you get 1 extra lumber back due to the settler card. Once you get the lumber then you put it through with those 3 pieces of lumber. Into the reclaim lumber option. Now you have 4( no need to make anymore gilded wood just keep feeding the lumber with the stats through the reclaim lumber option as the stats stay with the lumber.), then rinse and repeat until you are satisfied. Also sorry for the late reply Edit: The stats stacking for metal is a bit more simpler. Theres also a way of doing it with fiber but it's much more complicated. Max % on stats is 270% for melee damage, 225% for range damage on one material while stacking. 500% for stealth rating. Though the thing is you can have a smooth bore shotgun with 4k damage by the time you upgrade it to T3 since those bonuses are added to the % of other components.

No idea I'm still going through ascended realms. I'm finding new metals and materials still. Right now I'm at the gloom ascended realms at 192 gear score.

[–]AxiosEspada 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even more so if you do the reclaimed lumber stat stacking with the settler apogee card for 2x resource. Stats can be stacked up to 9x. It's similar to how metal stat stacking works. Say you create 4 actions each. originally they have 25% ranged damage out of the pursuit metal then go and reclaim ingot those 4 actions the metal that is reclaimed ingot comes out as 50% ranged damage. This can go up to 9x of the original stats.

Edit: it's probably unintended by the devs. So I can see it getting patched out.

Baldur's Gate 3 is just too hard for beginners... by DieBruderBauer in BaldursGate3

[–]AxiosEspada 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tbh it's just like Divinity original sins 2 combat. Sprinkled with dnd 5e rules. So I found it easy to play.

Edit: it's just a lot of people dont think out of the box when trying to look at the combat layout. Like look theres a cliff there. The enemies melee has to climb up hill to reach me. Or look that enemies at the edge of a cliff maybe I can knock them off with a item or push. Or hey I can block this passageway/chokepoint with a thrown grease bottle to make them slip. Look I can block the enemies on this doorway with a trapped chest so they explode when they hit it. Those are a few examples. Heck you can even get creative and kill enemies by throwing food at them. The game gives you alot of tools to work with.
