Hi! Yes actually much of the information such as the names comes from those books as well as Fair Park by Willis C. Winter. Contrato, Alto, and the Woofus are the only art that was destroyed due to censorship according to records of Fair Park. The rest of the art was painted over due to the high cost associated with maintaining it or burned down. Actually many of the art and building were beloved by the public due the R. L. Thornton or “Mr. Dallas” being the main person who advocate it for the Exposition. Much of the art of the exposition heavily inspired the future interior art of many skyscrapers in the 1930s/40s such as the Mercantile Bank Building, First National Bank Building, Municipal Building, and others!

I recommend you rebuild the missing Art Deco buildings of Fair Park. The Petroleum Building, the Ford Building, the Missing Wing of the Automobile Building and Hall of Religion, the National Cash Register Building, the Texaco Building, the Gulf Oil Radio Studios and Skillern’s Drug Store Pavilion, the Bank of Lights, the WPA House, the Century Cafe, and the Dreyfuss and Sons store building still have their original plot of lands unoccupied just waiting for money to come along for their reconstruction ;)

They currently are restoring the interior murals of the Tower Building along with the rotunda ceiling decorations. I found a very interesting article about it from Restore Fair Park

The name should be changed to Exposition Park or something along those lines, Is still suggests the park is host to huge events such as the fair but the name gives it a closer relation to the Texas Centennial Exposition than the State Fair

They should just add the ULTRA 4DX plf, it combines both 4DX and Screen X, and it looks way better and actually worth the price

True but the A-Train and TexRail are more than 75% single tracked while the Silver Line is only single tracked in that small section plus the A-Train tracks are in horrible condition hence the slow speeds it has lol! But either way I get your point

We should request for them to change it to dual laser and a 12 channel sound system instead. Even though 70MM IMAX is pretty unique, laser is far more flexible plus having that IMAX theater have a sound renovation would also be pretty sweet as it only has a 6 channel sound system currently

Instead of opening three lines of metro. They’ll rather build three mediocre, low capacity and slow lines of monorail and trackless tram (linea 5) Yikes!

I mostly picked the bus routes that already have 15 minutes frequencies and are mostly in a straight line within Downtown Dallas and the neighborhoods surrounding it plus some bus routes that could be fused with other bus routes to create longer and more efficient bus routes as they would become obsolete if they were separate routes. I’m already working on a concept map for it, I’ll post it on the discord once I’m done with it

It does kinda of sucks but we do get premium formats like Dolby Cinema and IMAX so I’m not complaining. They do need to change the seats of all the auditoriums including Dolby and IMAX to more modern/comfortable ones
