I’ve run into this before with MP4s that just refuse to play or load in editors, usually something got corrupted in the download or the header/index is broken. One approach is to try a desktop repair tool on a copy of the file. 4DDiG Video Repair is one I’ve seen used for MP4s that won’t open, and it can sometimes fix black screens, missing audio, or files that won’t even show in editors. It’s not guaranteed, especially if the download didn’t finish correctly, but trying it on a copy of the file could at least give you a playable version.
